Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a copying machine in which a specified original is not copied and the coloration is not performed even when a user tries to copy the original and to reduce the cost of the original by providing an original copying forbiddance information read means and a copying forbiddance means. CONSTITUTION:This machine is constituted by providing the original copying forbiddance information read means 1 (a photosensor 31 for detecting original density) and the copying forbiddance means 2 (a control part using a microcomputer). Specified original copying forbiddance information F different from the primary image information of the original is previously added to the original the copying of which is forbidden, such as a secret document. By depressing a printing switch in a state where such an original 24 is placed on an original platen 23, the control part starts a copying action and detects the bar-code of the information F according to a signal from the photosensor 31. At the time of detecting it before feeding a transfer paper, the copying action is interrupted and an effect that it is a copying forbidden original is displayed on a display unit. Even in the case of detecting it after feeding the transfer paper, copying is controlled so as not to be performed in accordance with the position of the transfer paper and the same display is performed.
