As shown in FIGS. 12 to 17, in the conventional switch of this type, a lever 12 rotatably attached to a terminal block 1 is rotated in the left-right direction, and a convex portion 13 provided at the bottom of the lever is used to The movable contact 3 presses down the push rod 41 which is biased by the spring 20 from below and comes into contact with the fixed contact 9 provided at the lower end of each terminal plate 8.
The contact piece 36 with 7 is pushed down in a horizontal state to turn it OFF. In this case, in circuits that carry large switching currents such as lamp loads and inductive loads, contact materials with good arc resistance must be used, which has the disadvantage of high material costs.

Generally, there is almost no arc when the contact is turned on, and an arc is generated when the contact is turned off. However, even if a material with good arc resistance was used, wear due to arc heat could not be avoided. That is,
When the pressing piece 41 is further pushed down in the direction of arrow A from the ON state shown in FIG. 16 to separate the contact points between the fixed contact 9 and the movable contact 37, an arc is generated in an attempt to maintain the current. The occurrence area extends to the area around the contact point, and the contact point may be partially worn out,
Unevenness occurs on the contact surface, resulting in a rough surface.
When the contact is turned ON in this state, the pressing piece 41 moves in the direction of arrow B as shown in Fig. 17, and when the movable contact 37 contacts the fixed contact 9 and the circuit is closed, a phenomenon occurs on the surface of the contact part. Because of "that", the contact state becomes unstable, contact resistance increases, high heat is generated, and "that" progresses more and more.

In view of these conventional problems, the present invention places the contact initial part and the contact separation part in the same place, limits the part where arcing occurs, and stabilizes the contact of the contact part as a whole. The terminal block is divided into an arc generating part and a current carrying part.The structure is such that mounting bases are provided on both sides of the front of a terminal block that has a partition plate made of insulating material, and a recessed part is formed between the mounting bases. abutting the top surface of each terminal board mounted on the mounting base against the bottom surface of the holding part provided on the front surface of the partition plate;
The boss part provided above the guide groove provided in the center of the holding part has a rotatable lever that has a convex part at the bottom that engages with the upper part of the pusher rod which is housed in the guide groove so as to be movable up and down. When installed, movable contacts are provided on the upper surfaces of both ends of the contact piece housed in the recess so that it can be moved up and down by springing a spring from below, and by rotating the lever, the push rod housed in the guide groove can be moved up and down. In the switch, an inclined part is provided on the lower surface of the push rod to make the contact piece having the movable contact oblique,
An arc generating part is provided on the ridge line at one end of the sloped upper side of the inclined part of the contact piece that comes into contact with and separates from the fixed contact provided on the terminal board, and an energizing part is provided on the upper surface of the contact piece that makes contact with and separate from the fixed contact. It consists of several sections.

To turn the switch off, first rotate the lever 12 in the clockwise direction as shown by arrow C in FIG. Push down against the elastic force. In this case, since the inclined part 22 provided on the lower surface of the push-down rod 21 is positioned perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the contact piece 16, the anti-arc generating part located at the other end of the contact piece 16 is firstly moved by the inclined lower part 25. E leaves the terminal plate 8, which is a fixed contact. In this case, the contact piece 16 comes into contact with the inclined part 22 of the push-down rod and is made oblique, but the side opposite to the anti-arc generation part E, that is, the arc generation part 17a, still contacts both terminal plates.

Next, when the push-down rod 21 is further pushed down, the arc generating part 17a of the contact piece 16 finally leaves both terminal plates 8, and at this time, arc discharge is generated from the arc generating part 17a, but the arc generating part 17a of the movable contact Since no arc occurs in the current-carrying portion 17b, which is another portion, there is no wear due to arc discharge.

To turn the switch on, press the push lever 21.
The lever 12 having the convex part 13 of the switch in the OFF state, which is engaged with the engaging part 24 of the switch, is rotated counterclockwise as shown by counter-arrow C in FIG. When removed from the engaging portion 24, the push rod 21
The contact piece 16 is lifted by the elastic force of the spring 20.

In this case, the contact piece 16, which is urged upward by the spring 20, is in contact with the inclined part 22 of the push-down rod 21 and moves upward obliquely as shown in FIG. An arc generating portion 17a provided at a ridgeline portion at one end of a contact piece 16 having a movable contact first comes into contact with the terminal plate 8, and an arc is generated at that time. Furthermore, while pushing the push rod 21 upward by the elastic force of the spring 20, the contact piece 16 is pushed up, and the contact point moves from the arc generating part 17a to the current carrying part 17b, which completely contacts the fixed contact 9, and is fixed. Contact 9
The entire movable contact 17 is brought into contact with each other, resulting in low contact resistance, and stable contact pressure can be maintained.

That is, when a movable contact provided on a contact piece that moves up and down via a push-down rod with an inclined portion by operating a lever connects and separates from a fixed contact provided on a terminal board, when contact is made, the movable contact is initially opened again. Finally, when separating, an arc discharge part is provided on the ridgeline part of one end of the movable contact so that the movable contact and the fixed contact are brought into contact and separated after making an arc discharge from the same place, and further divides the current-carrying part into surface parts. This has the advantage of preventing the wear of the contact surface due to arc discharge and maintaining stable contact for a long period of time, extending the life of the switch and further increasing its durability.
