【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は、ファクシミリの送信間始時刻を設定すること
ができるいわゆるタイマ機能を有するファクシミリ装置
に関する. 従来の技術 ファクシミリ装置には、ファクシミリの送信開始時刻を
設定することができるタイマ機能を有する装置がある.
このタイマ機能を利用すると、所望の時刻にファクシミ
リの送信を開始させることができる.このタイマ機能は
、外国へファクシミリの送信を行う際に有効な機能であ
る.特に、相手先の希望する時刻にファクシミリを送信
しようとすると、真夜中あるいは早朝に送信を行わなけ
ればならない場合などに、このタイマ機能は非常に便利
である. 発明が解決しようとする課題 上述したタイマ機能を利用して外国へファクシミリを送
信する場合、相手先の標準時に合わせて送信開始時刻を
設定する必要がある.このとき、操作者自身が相手先と
の時差を計算し、この時差に基づいて送信間始時刻を計
算してタイマをセットする必要があり、手間がかかると

るファクシミリ装置である. 作  用 本発明に従えば、ファクシミリの送信開始時刻と被呼局
開電話番号を記憶する第1記憶手段を含み、前記送信開
始時刻に達したときに、前記披呼局側電話番号による発
呼動作を行い、ファクシミリの送信を行うファクシミリ
装置において、第2記憶手段には、被呼局の地域毎に発
呼局の地域との時差が記憶される。地域とは、国あるい
