(Prior Art) Conventionally, a handrail frame for a movable handrail guide that is attached to the top of a transparent panel has a cross-section of a stainless steel plate with a deck board 1 of the handrail belt frame exposed at the upper peripheral edge of the handrail as shown in Fig. 1. The deck board 1 is formed into a groove shape, and the inside of the deck board 1 is reinforced with a thick core material 2 made of steel plate and having an L-shaped cross section, which is integrally attached to the deck board 1, thereby making effective use of expensive stainless steel materials. I was thinking about it. As a means for fixing these to the upper end of the transparent panel 3, the upper end of the transparent panel 3 is fixed to the upper end of the transparent panel 3 by means of the side wall A of the core material 2 and the backing plate 4 facing this side wall, using a push bolt 5 and a buffer rubber 6. I try to hold it tightly. A metal fitting 7 supporting this push bolt 5 is fixed to the core member 2 by welding or bolting.

Furthermore, after fixing the upper end of the transparent panel within the deck board 1 of the handrail frame, a back cover 8 is attached with screws 9 to cover and soften the bottom side of the deck board 1, as shown in Figure 2. A metal fitting 10 for receiving 9 is also attached to the core material 2. Also, the tesli rail 1 that guides the handrail belt 17
First, a rail receiving deck 12 formed of a stainless steel plate and having a U-shaped cross section is attached to the upper surface of a deck board 1 by welding or the like, and the above-mentioned tesly rail 11 is arranged on the upper part and fixed to the core material 2 with screws 11.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) As explained above, the conventional handrail frame has many components and requires a lot of time and effort to manufacture and assemble. In addition, position management to match the mounting position of the back cover receiving fitting 10 with the mounting hole pre-drilled in the back cover at the stage of installation is troublesome and the back cover may not be mounted at the installation site because they do not match. The reason for this problem is that the division of the handrail frame is different depending on the floor height, and the mounting pitch of the metal fittings 10 is also changed.

(Function) In the present invention, a frame made of a thin steel plate with a U-shaped groove in cross section is integrally attached directly below the Tesli rail by welding, and the opening thereof is press-fitted into the upper end of the transparent panel through a cushioning rubber. and fix it. Inward folding parts are provided at the leg ends on both sides of the opening of the frame, and by engaging with the stepped parts provided on the outside of the cushioning rubber, the frame is prevented from easily separating from the upper end of the panel. It is something.

As shown in FIG. 4, the opening width w 1 of the buffer rubber 13 is equal to the thickness T of the transparent panel 3, as shown in FIG.
5 is used, but it is also possible to use an adhesive or the like (or no adhesive in some cases). The buffer rubber 13 is preferably made of a material that is somewhat soft and highly elastic, and synthetic rubber or a polymeric material such as vinyl chloride can be used.

On the other hand, as shown in Fig. 5, the frame 14 is bent into a U-shaped cross section, and both ends are completely folded back inward, reducing the difference between the opening width W 2 and the inner width W 1 and extending it to the upper end of the panel. This makes press-fitting easier. The dimension L 1 from the tip of the folded portion of the frame 14 to the stepped portion B is set equal to l 1 so as to coincide with the stepped portion C of the cushioning rubber 14 when assembled as shown in FIG. Further, the step w 3 is larger than the thickness t of the material of the frame 14, and the cushioning rubber 13 is not sandwiched in the folded portion. Then, when incorporated,
The L 1 part of both legs of the frame 14 is made of cushioning rubber 13
It is fixed by sandwiching it. Since the magnitude of this pinching force is determined by the difference between the inner width W 1 of the frame 14 and the outer width W 2 of the cushioning rubber 13, it is necessary to control the dimensions. Normally, the frictional force due to the above-mentioned clamping force fixes the frame 14, but even if a force that exceeds this frictional force and tries to separate the frame 14 acts, the folded part B of the frame and the stepped part C of the cushioning rubber The two pieces engage with each other, creating a force that prevents them from coming off in the vertical direction, so they do not come off easily. FIGS. 6 to 9 show another embodiment of the frame 16.
The folded portion D is further enlarged, and a space E is provided without being completely folded back. In contrast to FIG. 3, where the folded part is not used to sandwich the cushioning rubber 13, in FIG. The deformation of the folded portion D of the frame 16 when assembled allows the cushioning rubber to be reliably sandwiched. Alternatively, the strength of the pinching force can be easily changed by adjusting the bending portion D. Next, FIG. 9 shows both ends of a cross-section of a handrail formed of thin strip steel so as to engage with the inner periphery of the handrail in order to reduce the parts K exposed from below the handrail of the frame 14. A pipe-shaped portion M is provided below the central horizontal portion. A frame 14 having a U-shaped cross section is welded therebetween. As can be easily seen by comparing with FIG. 3, this allows the exposed portion K to be reduced by the height H of the pipe-shaped portion.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the configuration according to the present invention requires a large number of parts that were required for the conventional clamping structure using push bolts, and can also be assembled in a short time.

In other words, it is no longer necessary to manufacture the conventional core material, backing plate, metal fittings, back cover, etc., and assembly is as easy as just press-fitting, making it possible to attach many parts to the core material and attach the back cover as in the past. This eliminates the need to drill screw holes in the bracket to match the mounting holes on-site. In addition, the difference in level at the joint of the deck board and its modification, which has been a particular problem in the past, does not pose much of a problem in the configuration of the present invention because the exposed portion of the frame is small.
As described above, the present invention can provide an escalator that is inexpensive in all parts manufacturing and assembly, and can also provide an escalator handrail that is slim and has an excellent design.
