Abstract

PURPOSE:To accelerate a stacked layer after ink drying up by setting up each guide plate, slidingly guiding a part of both side edges of a cutform, at both sides of an upper part of the intermediate part of a paper discharge tray, having the cutform advancing as supported by these guide plates curved with its own weight, and dropping it in the tray. CONSTITUTION:At both symmetrical sides of an upper part ranging from the intermediate part of a paper discharge tray 6 at the downstream side of a printing head 1 to the upstream side, there is provided with a symmetrical pair of guide plates 10 which guides both sides edges of a cutform 5 free of travel over a length of less than half of the full length. These guide plates 10 are made free of positional adjustment in the cross direction. The cutform 5 is printed by the printing head 1 as being discharged by a drive roller 3 toward the tray 6, and it advances as both the side edges are supported by the guide plates 10. With this advancement, the central part is curved with its own weight, but a curing action of the cutform 5 is adjusted by width adjustment of each guide plate 10, so that time of up to being dropped into the tray 6 can be shifted for adjustment. Therefore the cutform can be stacked in the tray 6 after ink is dried up.

Conventional technology Conventionally, there are printers equipped with paper output trays that store printed sheets in a stacked state, but in the case of inkjet printers, if the ink on the sheets is not dried before stacking, the previously printed sheets will be removed. There is a risk that the ink on the printed surface of the ticket may adhere to and stain the back surface of the next stacked ticket. In order to solve this problem, as described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1-145153, a pair of left and right rail members are provided on both sides of the upper part of the tray on which printed tickets are stacked, and these rail members are The rail member temporarily supports the printed ticket, maintains this state until the ink on the top layer of tickets stacked on the tray dries, and after a certain period of time has elapsed, the rail member is rotated or otherwise displaced and dropped into the tray. There is an invention that allows it to be inserted.

While printing with the printing head, the paper feed means discharges the ticket toward the top of the paper output tray, and the ticket moves away from the ticket tray one by one starting from the leading edge and moves forward with both side edges supported by a pair of left and right guide plates. As the discharge operation progresses, the center part bends downward due to its own weight, and as the tip of the ticket moves away from the downstream edge of the guide plate, the tip of the ticket bends. By setting the opposing interval between the guide plates, it is possible to adjust the ease with which the paper curves and delay the time from when it is printed to when it falls into the output tray. After the ink on the previously printed slip has dried, the next slip can be dropped onto the paper output tray.

Embodiment A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a print head 1 is provided which forms dots by ejecting ink. The paper feeding means 2 that discharges the ticket 5 through the lower surface of the print head 1 includes a drive roller 3 that is driven by a motor (not shown) and rotates counterclockwise, and a presser roller that is in pressure contact with the drive roller 3. 4 and more. On the downstream side of the print head 1, there is provided a paper discharge tray 6 for storing printed tickets 5 in a stacked state. Also, print head 1
A ticket holder 7 is fixedly provided below the ticket holder 7 along the width direction of the ticket 5. A part of this ticket holder 7 is driven by the drive roller 3.
It is curved along the outer periphery of the sheet 5 and also serves as a guide plate for the cut sheet 5. Furthermore, a presser plate 9 is provided which is biased by a spring 8 and presses the ticket 5 against the ticket receiver 7.

In such a configuration, the cut sheet 5 is connected to a paper feed section (not shown).
The print head 1 prints while being discharged by the drive roller 3 and press roller 4. After printing, the paper is discharged toward the paper discharge tray 6 by the drive roller 3 and press roller 4. This discharge process will be explained. As the cut 5 moves away from the cut holder 7 sequentially from the tip and moves forward with both side edges supported by a pair of left and right guide plates 10, the cut 5 is discharged as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3. As it progresses, the center part bends downward due to its own weight, and as the tip of the cut 5 separates from the downstream edge of the cut holder 7 and the guide plate 10, the bending action of the tip of the cut 5 becomes second. As shown in Figures 1 and 4, by setting the opposing distance between the guide plates 10 in advance, the bending effect of the ticket 5 can be adjusted and the time taken from the time of printing to the time of dropping the paper onto the discharge tray. can be delayed. Therefore, after the ink on the previously printed ticket 5 dries, the next printed ticket 5 can be dropped onto the six paper ejection ribs. This makes it possible to prevent ink from adhering after printing even if the tickets 5 are stacked in the paper discharge tray 6. Further, since a drive unit for displacing the guide plate 10 every time a sheet is printed is not required, the structure can be simplified and downsized. In addition, in FIGS. 1 and 2, 5a is the curved center portion of the cut 5, and 5b is the both side edges of the cut 5.

Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described based on FIG. One end of a pair of left and right supports 11 each holding a guide plate 1o is held on both sides of the paper discharge tray 6 so as to be rotatable in the horizontal direction about a fulcrum 12. These supports 11 intersect with each other in an X-shape, and elongated holes 13 extending in the elongated direction are formed in the intersecting portions, and flanged bottles 15 with handles 14 are installed in these elongated holes 13. It is fitted. Therefore, by moving the handle 14 in the conveyance direction of the ticket 5, the support body 11 can be rotated in a symmetrical direction about the fulcrum 12, thereby simultaneously displacing the left and right guide plates 1o. The facing distance between the two can be adjusted. The narrower the distance between the guide plates 10, the smaller the number of single sheets 5.

By locating the cut sheet 5 closer to the print head 1 than the guide plate 10, the operation of dropping the cut sheet 5 from its leading end onto the paper discharge tray 6 is not hindered.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention includes a paper feeding means for discharging the tickets through the lower surface of the print head, and a paper discharge tray for holding the tickets in a stack on the downstream side of the print head. ,
A ticket holder is provided near the lower surface of the print head along the width direction of the ticket, and a portion of both side edges of the ticket is slidably guided on both sides of an upper portion of the intermediate portion of the paper ejection tray. By arranging the guide plates facing each other, when the print head prints and the paper feed device discharges the ticket toward the top of the paper output tray, the ticket gradually leaves the ticket holder starting from the leading edge, and the edges on both sides are separated from the left and right edges. - As the paper advances while being supported by the pair of guide plates, as the discharge operation progresses, the center part bends downward due to its own weight, and the tip of the paper is separated from the paper receiver and the downstream edge of the guide plate. The bending of the leading edge of the cut sheet is accelerated as the sheet is moved, so by setting the opposing distance between the guide plates, the ease with which the sheet curves can be adjusted and the bending effect of the leading edge of the cut sheet is accelerated. This allows the time to be delayed so that the ink on the previously printed ticket dries before the next ticket can be dropped onto the output tray, thereby creating a stack of tickets on the output tray. too,
This has effects such as being able to prevent ink from adhering after printing.
