Claims (1)
より加速された電子ビームをX線に変換する重金
属からなる可動ターゲツトとを含み、可動ターゲ
ツトを前記電子ビームの経路に出し入れすること
によりX線および電子線の2種類の放射線を照射
可能な治療用線形電子加速装置において、 前記可動ターゲツト位置を検出するターゲツト
位置検出器と、 可動ターゲツトを駆動し電子ビームの軌道に出
し入れするターゲツト駆動回路と、 操作者により設定された放射線種に応じてター
ゲツトを駆動するための信号をターゲツト駆動回
路に出力し、選択された放射線種により設定され
るべき位置に可動ターゲツトがあるかを、ターゲ
ツト位置検出器からの信号により判断し、選択さ
れた放射線種に対応したターゲツト位置となつて
いない場合、ターゲツト位置検出器の故障の場合
及びターゲツト駆動回路の故障が発生した場合で
も、放射線の照射を禁止させる制御器とを備えて
