Abstract

PURPOSE:To synthetically carry out the remedy of cancer even with the biological effect taken into consideration by using an expert system. CONSTITUTION:The anatomical chart of a patient is shown on a picture display 4 and the affected part is recognized. Then the remedial area is inputted through a digitizer 3, and the remedying method is selected via a CRT display 1 and a keyboard 2. An expert system 7 includes a knowledge base 11 which contains the knowledges of the biological effect and the remedial effect for the remedial area. In this system 7 the rate of the remedying method and the remedial period are inferred by an inference engine 12. Thus an optimum remedy plan is obtained and this planning result is outputted to the display 1, an external output device 5, an external memory 6, etc. Thus an exclusive remedy planning device is not required for each remedying method and therefore an accurate remedy plan can be formed in one area only without causing any time loss.

や、治療時間を推論することができるという効果がある
。これらにより、総合的な癌治療を行なうことができ、
また生物学的効果まで考慮した最も効果の高い最適の治
療計画をたてることができるという効果がある。
