Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform a less-expensive discharging of drain water by a method wherein an evaporator is equipped with fins extending vertically and a condensor is equipped with fins extending in a horizontal direction in a slit-form. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 18 is operated by an operating part 17. An air blower 6 for an evaporator and an air blower 14 for a condenser are rotated, drain water 7 is condensed and generated at fin surfaces of the evaporator to cool an interior of a room. Since the fin direction in the evaporator is set in a vertical direction, this generated drain water 7 is rapidly flowed toward a lower water receiving pan 3. Since the plate fins of the condenser 13 are of slit-form to cause the dripped drain water 7 to be flowed to an entire interior part of the condenser 13. Accordingly, the drain water 7 is evaporated by heat of the condenser 13 and discharged out of a main body as gas by an air blower 14 for the condenser. Expensive motor, a slinger desk and a safety device are not required, so that it is possible to a get less-expensive integeral type air condtioner.

In order to cool the air in the living room, when the air conditioner main body 11 is operated using the operation unit 17, the compressor, evaporator blower 6, and condenser blower 14 are operated, sucking air from the living room and cooling the evaporator 12. This cools the living room. Further, the condenser I3 radiates the heat exchanged with the generator 12. At this time, that is, when the air is cooled by the evaporator 12, the moisture in the air in the living room is condensed, and the water at the bottom of the condenser 13 is passed through the f generator water tray 16 provided at the bottom of the evaporator 12 as drain water 7. It is stored in the saucer 15. Then, the motor 8 is operated to rotate the slinger disc 9, and the drain water 7 is scooped up into the m condenser 13 and evaporated, and the drain water is discharged.
Therefore, the evaporation capacity was increased by increasing the condensation capacity.

The compressor 18 is operated by the operation unit 17, the evaporator blower 6 and the condenser blower 14 are rotated, and the drain water 7 is condensed on the fin surface of the evaporator 12, thereby cooling the inside of the living room. Since the fins of the evaporator are oriented vertically, the generated drain water 7 quickly flows to the water receiving tray 3 below. A plurality of drain holes 19 provided at the deepest part of the water tray 3 allow water to drip uniformly into the condenser 13 below, and the periphery of the plate fins of the condenser 13 is bent upward. Therefore, the dripping drain water 7 does not overflow or scatter. Since the plate fins of the condenser 13 are slot-shaped, the dripped drain water 7 can be spread throughout the entire condenser 13. Furthermore, the water splash prevention plates 10 on both sides of the condenser 13 can prevent the drain water 7 from flowing out from the middle portion.

Therefore, the drain water 7 is evaporated by the heat of the condenser 13,
The condenser blower 14 discharges the air as a gas outside the main body, and an expensive morph, slinger disk, or safety device is not required, so an inexpensive integrated air conditioner can be provided.

Furthermore, since the heat dissipation of the condenser 13 is also assisted, the amount of heat dissipated increases, power consumption can be reduced, and the cooling capacity can also be increased.
