Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a contaminated air in a sample storage room from polluting other samples both during the storage of samples and when an operation is carried out by arranging double barriers in front of the sample storage rooms. CONSTITUTION:A blower 2a and an HEPA filter 1a for individual barriers are set upon sample storage rooms 5, the first space equipped with the first door 3 and the second door 4, and an air curtain is formed by supplying a clean air from the filter 1a into a space between the doors 3 and 4 as the first isolation device. On the other hand, a blower 2b and a HEPA filter 1b for a common barrier are arranged in front of the door 4 and another air curtain of clean air is formed in the second space between the door 4 and the third door 5 as the second isolation device. It is possible, as a result, to prevent a mutual contamination, because the contaminated air in a sample storage room does not move into other storage rooms.
