Claims (1)
方に複数のセグメント電極を形成し、他方の基板
に前記各セグメント電極と対向するコモン電極を
形成するとともに、前記セグメント電極はそれぞ
れ複数の微細電極に分割し、かつ前記一対の基板
のいずれか一方に前記セグメント電極の各微細電
極のうちの一部の微細電極にそれぞれ対応するカ
ラーフイルタを形成した液晶表示素子において、
一方または他方の基板面に、前記セグメント電極
の各微細電極のうち前記カラーフイルタが対応し
ていない微細電極にそれぞれ対応させて、無色透
明な絶縁膜を、前記カラーフイルタによる電圧降
下とほぼ同じ電圧降下が得られる厚さに設けたこ
