Description

The present invention relates to an airtight/thermal insulating structure for a sash window , and to a sash window .

Traditionally, buildings such as offices and houses use a variety of sash windows, including sliding windows, sash windows, fixed windows (fixed windows), single-opening windows, outward-opening windows, inward-tilting windows, folding windows, and pivoting windows, each with different opening and closing methods and functions.

Of these, sliding sash windows have a frame fixed to the outer edge of the opening in the building, and two shoji screens are placed inside the frame so that they can slide left and right to open and close the opening. Each shoji screen is made up of a rectangular frame made of an upper frame, a lower frame, and left and right vertical frames (one of the vertical frames is a joint frame) made of aluminum or resin profiles, and a glass panel placed inside the frame.

Each shoji screen has a guide groove with a concave cross section formed in the upper frame of the screen, which is engaged with an upper rail formed on the upper frame of the frame. A door roller is housed in the lower frame, and the lower frame and door roller are engaged on a lower rail with a convex cross section provided on the lower frame of the frame. This allows the shoji screen to slide left and right while being guided by the upper and lower rails of the frame.

In addition, intermediate rails are protruding from the upper and lower frames, and are arranged between the upper and lower frames of one shoji screen and the other, and each shoji screen is arranged to be able to slide so as to be guided by these upper and lower intermediate rails.

On the other hand, in sliding window sashes, a smoke deflector with a roughly L-shaped cross section is integrally provided on the sliding door frame, and when a pair of sliding doors are closed, the sliding doors overlap and the smoke deflectors engage with each other.

Furthermore, there are configurations in which airtight material is attached to the outside of the aluminum profile on the joint frame of one of the shoji screens to ensure insulation and airtightness, and when the pair of shoji screens are closed so that the joint frames overlap and the airtight material of one shoji screen abuts the aluminum profile of the other shoji screen, insulation and airtightness are ensured (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

Furthermore, generally, in sliding window sashes 100 in mid- to high-rise buildings, as shown in FIG. 13, for example, the abutment/airtight line R1 where the resin material 3 of one joint frame 1 abuts against the aluminum profile (aluminum part) of the other joint frame 2 is provided inside the room rather than the smoke guard 4, and a water drain 5 is provided outside this airtight line R1 to prevent the intrusion of water such as rainwater.

For example, as shown in FIG. 14, in a sliding window sash 100 for a house, the abutment/airtight line R1 where the resin material 3 of one joint frame 1 abuts against the aluminum profile (aluminum part) of the other joint frame 2 is located outside the room beyond the smoke deflector 4, and this airtight line (abutment) R1 is configured to also function as a water drain.

However, in the conventional sliding window sashes described above, a resin material (resin cover) that has excellent insulating properties but is prone to thermal shrinkage is attached to one of the joint frames, and this resin material abuts against the aluminum profile of the other joint frame to ensure insulation and airtightness. Therefore, if the resin material thermally shrinks, a gap will form between the aluminum profile and the resin material, and there is a risk that insulation and airtightness will not be ensured.

In addition, when the resin material is placed on the interior side of the room, as in the case of sliding window sashes in mid- to high-rise buildings, and the airtight line is placed on the interior side, and the resin material that forms the insulating layer is placed on the surface of the joint frame facing the interior side, the visible width of the joint frame becomes large to match the size of the resin material in order to obtain the desired insulating performance. This can lead to a poor appearance (deterioration of design) and higher costs.

In addition, as with sliding window sashes in residential buildings, if the abutment/airtight line where the plastic material of one frame frame abuts the aluminum profile of the other frame frame is located on the outside of the room and this airtight line (abutment) also serves as a drain, it may be affected by the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the room, making it easier for condensation to form around the airtight line on the outside of the room, making it difficult to ensure watertightness.

In view of the above circumstances, the present invention aims to provide an airtight/insulating structure for a sash window , and a sash window, which makes it possible to reduce the visible width of the door frame while ensuring/improving airtightness and insulation.

To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides the following means:

Furthermore, the first airtight material 24 of this embodiment is formed so that the tip side of the airtight/insulating main body portion 24b has a convex arc-shaped cross section. The engaging base end portion 24a is formed in an approximately flat plate shape.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, in order to improve insulation, a resin cover 25 is attached to one of the joint frames 10d so as to cover the two side surfaces facing the room, excluding the surface on which the first airtight material 24 and the smoke deflector 4 are provided. Also, the first airtight material 24 of one of the joint frames 10d is provided on the indoor side of the smoke deflector 4.

As a result, the first airtight/insulated structure B1 of this embodiment forms a first airtight line R2 on the indoor side by the first resin material 21 attached to the joining frame 10d of the other shoji screen 13 to form an insulating layer, and the first airtight material 24 attached to the joining frame 10d of one shoji screen 12 abutting against this first resin material 21.

Next, the second airtight/insulated structure B2 of this embodiment for ensuring airtightness and insulation between the upper frame 16 and the joint frame 10d and upper frame 10a is configured by providing a groove-shaped second engagement portion 26 along the width direction T1 in the extension direction of the upper frame 16 on the surface facing the outside of the room of the middle rail (middle wall portion) 20 of the upper frame 16, as shown in Figures 2 and 4, and engaging and attaching a second airtight material (upper airtight material) 27 to this second engagement portion 26.

The second airtight material 27, like the first airtight material 24, is formed with an engaging base end 27a that detachably engages with the second engaging portion 26 of the upper frame 16 to position and hold the second airtight material 27, and an airtight/insulating main body portion 27b whose protruding tip is in close contact with the upper frame 10a of the other shoji screen 13 from the engaging base end 27a when the engaging base end 27a is engaged with the second engaging portion 26.

The second airtight material 27 is made of resin and is elastically deformable, and is formed with a predetermined length in the horizontal direction that reaches approximately both ends of the width direction T1 of the upper frame 16. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the tip side of the airtight/insulating main body 27b of the second airtight material 27 is formed to have a convex arc-shaped cross section, and the engaging base end 27a is formed in an approximately flat plate shape.

Then, in the second airtight/insulated structure B2, the tip of the airtight/insulated main body 27b of the second airtight material 27 attached to the middle rail 20 of the upper frame 16 is in close contact with the upper frame 10a of the other shoji screen 13.

As a result, the second airtight/insulated structure B2 of this embodiment forms a second airtight line R3 on the indoor side by the second airtight material 27 abutting the upper frame 10a of the other shoji screen 13.

At this time, the second airtight line R3 formed by the second airtight material 27 is formed at a position shifted toward the outside of the room (a different position in the projection direction (depth direction T3)) from the first airtight line R2 formed by the first resin material 21 attached to the other joint frame 10d to form an insulating layer and the first airtight material 24 attached to one of the joint frames 10d abutting the first resin material.

Next, the third airtight/insulating structure B3 of this embodiment, which is for ensuring airtightness and insulation between the bottom frame 17 and the joint frame 10d and bottom frame 10b, is roughly configured as an upside-down version of the second airtight/insulating structure B2, as shown in Figures 2 and 5.

In other words, the third airtight/insulated structure B3 of this embodiment has a third engagement portion 30 formed on the surface (part) of the intermediate wall portion 20 of the lower frame 17 facing the outside of the room, which is aligned with the width direction T1 in the extension direction of the lower frame 17, and is configured by engaging and attaching a third airtight material (lower airtight material) 31 to this third engagement portion 30.

The third airtight material 31, like the first airtight material 24 and the second airtight material 27, is formed with an engaging base end 31a that detachably engages with the third engaging portion 30 of the bottom frame 17 to position and hold the third airtight material 31, and an airtight/insulating main body portion 31b whose protruding tip is in close contact with the bottom frame 10b of the other shoji screen 13 from the engaging base end 31a when the engaging base end 31a is engaged with the third engaging portion 30.

The third airtight material 31 is made of resin and is elastically deformable, and is formed with a predetermined length in the horizontal direction that reaches approximately both ends of the width direction T1 of the lower frame 17. Furthermore, in the third airtight material 31 of this embodiment, similar to the first airtight material 24 and the second airtight material 27, the tip side of the airtight/insulating main body 31b is formed to have a convex arc-shaped cross section, and the engaging base end 31a is formed in an approximately flat plate shape.

Then, in the third airtight/insulating structure B3, the tip of the airtight/insulating main body 31b of the third airtight material 31 attached to the intermediate wall portion 20 of the bottom frame 17 is in close contact with the bottom frame 10b of the other shoji screen 13.

As a result, the third airtight/insulated structure B3 of this embodiment forms a third airtight line R4 on the indoor side by the third airtight material 31 abutting the bottom frame 10b of the other shoji screen 13.

In addition, at this time, the third airtight line R4 formed by the third airtight material 31 is formed at a position shifted toward the outside of the room (a different position in the projection direction (depth direction T3)) from the first airtight line R2 formed by the first resin material 21 attached to the other joint frame 10d to form an insulating layer and the first airtight material 24 attached to one of the joint frames 10d abutting the first resin material 21.

Next, the fourth airtight/insulating structure B4 of this embodiment is intended to ensure airtightness and insulation between the first airtight/insulating structure B1 and the third airtight/insulating structure B3, and is configured with a fourth airtight material (airtight piece) 32 made of resin interposed between the lower end of the first airtight material 24 of the first airtight/insulating structure B1 and one side end of the third airtight material 31 of the third airtight/insulating structure B3, as shown in Figures 6, 7, and 8.

This fourth airtight material 32 is provided so as to connect the airtight lines formed by the first airtight/insulated structure B1 and the third airtight/insulated structure B3. In addition, the fourth airtight material 32 of this embodiment is formed with a protrusion (airtight material adjacent portion) 32a that protrudes upward (in the vertical direction T2) and is arranged adjacent to the lower end side of the first airtight material 24 of the first airtight/insulated structure B1, and a fitting portion 32b that is recessed in the width direction T1 and into which one side end of the third airtight material 31 of the third airtight/insulated structure B3 fits.

In this way, the fourth airtight material 32 of the fourth airtight/insulating structure B4 is interposed between the lower end of the first airtight material 24 of the first airtight/insulating structure B1 and one side end of the third airtight material 31 of the third airtight/insulating structure B3. Furthermore, the protruding portion 32a of the fourth airtight material 32 is adjacent to the lower end side of the first airtight material 24, and one side end of the third airtight material 31 is engaged with the engaging portion 32b of the fourth airtight material 32, so that a series of airtight lines are formed in this portion, and the airtightness and insulation between the first airtight/insulating structure B1 and the third airtight/insulating structure B3 are suitably ensured.

Next, the fifth airtight/insulating structure B5 of this embodiment is intended to ensure airtightness and insulation between the first airtight/insulating structure B1 and the second airtight/insulating structure B2, and is configured with a fifth airtight material (airtight piece) 33 made of resin that is interposed between the upper end of the first airtight material 24 of the first airtight/insulating structure B1 and one side end of the second airtight material 27 of the second airtight/insulating structure B2, as shown in FIG. 9 (see FIG. 7 and FIG. 8).

This fifth airtight material 33, like the fourth airtight material 32, is provided to connect the airtight lines formed by the first airtight/insulating structure B1 and the second airtight/insulating structure B2. In addition, the fifth airtight material 33 of this embodiment is formed with a protrusion (airtight material adjacent portion) 33a that protrudes downward (in the vertical direction T2) and is arranged adjacent to the upper end side of the first airtight material 24 of the first airtight/insulating structure B1, and a fitting portion 33b that is recessed in the width direction T1 and into which one side end of the second airtight material 27 of the second airtight/insulating structure B2 fits.

In this way, the fifth airtight material 33 of the fifth airtight/insulating structure B5 is interposed between the upper end of the first airtight material 24 of the first airtight/insulating structure B1 and one side end of the second airtight material 27 of the second airtight/insulating structure B2. Furthermore, the protrusion 33a of the fifth airtight material 33 is adjacent to the upper end side of the first airtight material 24, and one side end of the second airtight material 27 is fitted into the fitting portion 33b of the fifth airtight material 33, so that a series of airtight lines are formed in this portion, and the airtightness and insulation between the first airtight/insulating structure B1 and the second airtight/insulating structure B2 are suitably ensured.

Therefore, in the airtight/insulated structure B of the sash window A of this embodiment, a first airtight/insulated structure B1 is provided to ensure airtightness and insulation in the vertical direction T2 of the extension direction of the joint frames 10d when the joint frames 10d of a pair of shoji screens 12, 13 are overlapped, and an airtight line R2 is formed on the indoor side by a first resin material 21 attached to the joint frame 10d of the other shoji screen 13 of this first airtight/insulated structure B1 to form an insulating layer, and a first airtight material 24 that is elastically deformable and attached to the joint frame 10d of one shoji screen 12 that abuts against the first resin material 21.

As a result, in the first airtight/insulated structure B1 of this embodiment configured as described above, even if deformation such as thermal contraction occurs in the first resin material 21, when the pair of shoji screens 12, 13 are closed, the tip of the elastically deformable first airtight material 24 can be constantly in close contact with the first resin material 21, thereby ensuring airtightness and insulation.

In addition, in the first airtight/insulated structure B1 of this embodiment, the first resin material 21 provided on the other joint frame 10d is abutted against the elastically deformable first airtight material 24 to ensure airtightness and insulation, so the thickness of the first resin material 21 can be made thin.

This allows the first resin material 21 (insulation layer) to be made thinner while still maintaining the desired insulation, and the width of the joint frame 10d in the projection direction (depth direction) T3 can be reduced compared to conventional methods. This improves the appearance of the joint frame 10d and therefore the sash window A, while also reducing costs.

In addition, the airtight/insulating structure B of the sash window A in this embodiment is provided with a second airtight/insulating structure B2 to ensure airtightness and insulation between the upper frame 16 and the joint frame 10d and upper frame 10a, and this second airtight/insulating structure B2 forms a second airtight line R3 by a second airtight material 27 that abuts against the other joint frame 10d and upper frame 10a.

Furthermore, in the airtight/insulating structure B of the sash window A of this embodiment, the second airtight line R3 formed by the second airtight material 27 and the first airtight line R2 formed by the first airtight material 24 are formed with a shifted position in the projection direction T3, so that these two airtight lines R2, R3 can effectively provide airtightness and insulation. Therefore, it is possible to further improve airtightness and insulation compared to the conventional method.

The airtight/insulating structure B of the sash window A of this embodiment also includes a third airtight/insulating structure B3 for ensuring airtightness and insulation between the bottom frame 17 and the joint frame 10d and bottom frame 10b, and this third airtight/insulating structure B3 forms a third airtight line R4 by the third airtight material 31 that abuts against the other joint frame 10d and bottom frame 10b, similar to the second airtight/insulating structure B2. This allows the third airtight/insulating structure B3 to provide the same effect as the second airtight/insulating structure B2.

In addition, by abutting the third airtight material 31 against the joint frame 10d and bottom frame 10b of the other shoji screen 13 to ensure airtightness and thermal insulation, the dimension of the joint frame 10d in the projection direction T3 can be reduced compared to the conventional method. This further improves the appearance and makes it possible to reduce costs.

In addition, since two airtight lines R2, R4 are formed at different positions (shifted positions), each airtight line R2, R4 can exhibit airtightness and insulation individually. Therefore, it is possible to further improve airtightness and insulation compared to the conventional method.

Furthermore, in the airtight/insulating structure B of the sash window A of this embodiment, a fourth airtight/insulating structure B4 is interposed between the first airtight/insulating structure B1 and the third airtight/insulating structure B3, and a fifth airtight/insulating structure B5 is interposed between the first airtight/insulating structure B1 and the second airtight/insulating structure B2, thereby connecting the airtight lines and ensuring optimal airtightness and insulation.

The fourth airtight material 32 of the fourth airtight/insulating structure B4 and the fifth airtight material 33 of the fifth airtight/insulating structure B5 each have protrusions 32a, 33a that are arranged adjacent (side by side) to the first airtight material 24 of the first airtight/insulating structure B1, so that the seams between the first airtight material 24 and the fourth airtight material 32 and the fifth airtight material 33 do not become air passages (there is no air leakage), making it possible to further improve the airtightness and insulation.

In addition, by providing the fourth airtight material 32 of the fourth airtight/insulating structure B4 and the fifth airtight material 33 of the fifth airtight/insulating structure B5, and further providing protrusions 32a, 33a adjacent to the first airtight material 24 of the first airtight/insulating structure B1, it is possible to ensure airtightness and insulation even if thermal shrinkage occurs in the first airtight material 24, etc.

Furthermore, by providing the fourth airtight material 32 of the fourth airtight/insulating structure B4 and the fifth airtight material 33 of the fifth airtight/insulating structure B5, and further providing protrusions 32a, 33a adjacent to the first airtight material 24 of the first airtight/insulating structure B1 to ensure the desired airtightness and insulation, it becomes possible to form the joint frame 10d with a smaller visible width compared to the conventional structure.

Furthermore, if the fourth airtight material 32 of the fourth airtight/insulating structure B4 and the fifth airtight material 33 of the fifth airtight/insulating structure B5 are configured to abut against the first resin material 21 forming the insulating layer, together with the first airtight material 24 of the first airtight/insulating structure B1, in other words, if the first resin material 21 is formed with a large width in the viewing direction so that it abuts not only the first airtight material 24 but also the fourth airtight material 32 and the fifth airtight material 33, it becomes possible to further improve the airtightness and insulation.

The above describes one embodiment of the airtight/insulated structure of a sash window according to the present invention, but the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment and can be modified as appropriate without departing from the spirit of the invention.

For example, the fourth airtight/insulating structure B4 and the fifth airtight/insulating structure B5 may be formed of a plurality of members.
For example, as shown in Figures 10 and 11, a resin material 35 with excellent heat insulation properties may be attached to the intermediate rail/intermediate wall portion 20 of the upper frame 16 (lower frame 17) so as to protrude downward (upward) from the tip of the intermediate rail 20 in the protruding direction, and a fifth airtight material (airtight piece/upper filling airtight material) 33 may be provided so as to fill the upper space surrounded by these upper members, thereby forming a fifth airtight/insulating structure B5. It goes without saying that the fourth airtight/insulating structure B4 can be formed in a similar upside-down form.

By filling and arranging the resin material 35 and the fifth airtight material 33 in the space in this manner, it is possible to further improve the airtightness and heat insulation. In addition, by providing the fifth airtight material 33, it is possible to connect the first airtight line R2 and the second airtight line R3 (third airtight line R4) as shown in FIG. 11.

Furthermore, by providing the resin material 35 and the fifth airtight material 33, new airtight lines can be formed at multiple locations where the fifth airtight material 33 abuts, such as the contact area between the resin material 35 and the fifth airtight material 33. Therefore, by providing a large fifth airtight material 33, it is possible to more reliably and effectively improve airtightness and insulation while keeping the joint frame 10d small.

Furthermore, as shown in Figure 10, it is possible that the position of the airtight line (dashed line) may change due to, for example, the first resin material 21 attached to the other shoji screen 13 being misaligned due to construction errors, etc.; however, by providing the fifth airtight material 33 together with the first airtight material 24, the airtight line in this area will not shift, making it possible to exhibit highly reliable airtightness and insulation performance.

Also, as shown in Figure 12, if the upper frame 16 (or lower frame 17) of the frame body 15 is configured with an upper rail (or lower rail: intermediate wall portion) 20 that supports the upper side (or lower end side) of each shoji screen 12, 13 so that they can slide, airtight material 36 can be attached to the upper frame 10a (or lower frame 10b) of each shoji screen 12, 13, and the tip can be pressed against the upper rail (or lower rail) 20 to form an airtight line.

In this embodiment, the first airtight material 24 is adhered closely to the first resin material 21 of the other joint frame 10d, but it is also possible to abut the first airtight material 24 against the aluminum part (metal part) of the joint frame 10d. In this case, as in this embodiment, the airtight line is shifted, so the projection direction can be reduced.
