また、本建具は、一方側部材1の長手方向端部と他方側部材2の長手方向端部とが見込方向及び内外周方向の移動が規制された状態で係合していることで、一方側部材1と他方側部材2の連結強度を向上を高めることができ、連結する際の作業性も向上する。
さらに、本建具は、他方側連結部品4は他方側部材2の内周側壁又は外周側壁39に当接する当接部(室外側嵌合部33の外周側面38)を有することで、他方側部材2の傾きが規制され、建具の強度が向上する。
また、本建具は、一方側連結部品3の係合部5を他方側部材2の切欠き28に係合することで、一方側部材1の端面15が他方側部材2から離間するのを規制しているので、組立てが一層容易に行えると共に、強度を向上することができる。
一方側連結部品3の係合部5は、先端側が内側に曲がった一対の爪片18,18よりなり、他方側連結部品4の被係合部6は、一対の爪片18,18間に挿入される挿入部36を有するので、一方側連結部品3と他方側連結部品4を無理なく強固に係合して一体化できる。
一方側連結部品3は、一方側部材1の長手方向への移動が規制された状態で一方側部材1にあらかじめ取付けられるものであるため、建具の組立て性が一層向上する。
他方側連結部品4は、他方側部材2の小口を覆う小口キャップを兼ねるので、小口キャップを別に設ける必要がなく、コストを下げることができ、小口キャップを嵌めるようにして他方側連結部品4を他方側部材2の端部に取付けるだけで、建具を簡単に組み立てることができる。
