Claims (20)
- ビデオゲームシステムであって、
プレイエリアの近傍に配置された少なくとも2つの感知ユニットであって、前記少なくとも2つの感知ユニットはそれぞれ、前記プレイエリア内に位置するプレーヤのそれぞれの走査データを収集し、各感知ユニットのそれぞれの処理回路により前記プレーヤの部分的モデルを生成するように構成され、前記部分的モデルは、前記プレーヤの部分的体積モデル、部分的骨格モデル、又は部分的影モデルを含む、少なくとも2つの感知ユニットと、
前記プレイエリアの近傍に配置され、前記プレーヤの仮想表現を含む仮想環境を提示するように構成されたディスプレイ装置と、
前記少なくとも2つの感知ユニット及び前記ディスプレイ装置に通信可能に結合されたコントローラであって、前記コントローラは、少なくとも1つのプロセッサを含み、前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサは、
前記少なくとも2つの感知ユニットの各感知ユニットから前記プレーヤの部分的モデルを受け取るように構成され、前記受け取った部分的モデルは、前記プレーヤの部分的体積モデル、部分的骨格モデル、又は部分的影モデルを含み、前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサは、
前記プレーヤの少なくとも1つのモデルを生成するために各受け取った部分的モデルを融合し、
前記生成された少なくとも1つのモデルに基づいて前記仮想表現を生成し、前記ディスプレイ装置に前記プレーヤの部分的体積モデル、部分的骨格モデル、又は部分的影モデルに基づく前記プレーヤの前記生成された仮想表現を含む前記仮想環境を提示するように指示する、
ように構成される、コントローラと、
を含む、ビデオゲームシステム。 - 前記生成された仮想表現は、前記プレーヤの2次元影モデルを含む、請求項1に記載のビデオゲームシステム。
- 前記影モデルは、前記プレーヤのシルエットに対応する形状を有する前記プレーヤのテクスチャレスなモデルを含む、請求項2に記載のビデオゲームシステム。
- 前記少なくとも2つの感知ユニットの各感知ユニットは、前記それぞれの走査データを収集するように構成された赤外線(IR)センサを含む、請求項1に記載のビデオゲームシステム。
- 前記少なくとも2つの感知ユニットは、前記ディスプレイ装置に対して前記プレイエリアの反対側の部分に配置される、請求項4に記載のビデオゲームシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサは、
前記生成された少なくとも1つのモデルに基づいて、前記プレーヤのゲーム内動作を識別し、
前記識別されたゲーム内動作に基づいて、前記生成された仮想表現、前記提示された仮想環境、又は両方を更新する、
ように構成される、請求項1に記載のビデオゲームシステム。 - 前記生成された少なくとも1つのモデルは、ゲーム内動作を識別するために利用される前記プレーヤの骨格モデルを含む、請求項1に記載のビデオゲームシステム。
- 前記プレーヤのRFタグから、一意的に識別するRF信号を受け取るように構成された無線周波数(RF)センサを含み、
前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサは、
前記RFセンサから前記一意的に識別するRF信号を受け取り、
前記受け取った一意的に識別するRF信号に基づいて複数のプレーヤから前記プレーヤを識別する
ように構成される、
請求項1に記載のビデオゲームシステム。 - 前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサは、
前記受け取った一意的に識別するRF信号に基づいてデータベースに問い合わせ、
前記問い合わせに基づいて、前記生成された仮想表現、前記プレーヤの統計、前記プレーヤの属性、前記プレーヤの購入、又はこれらの組み合わせを更新する、
ように構成される、請求項8に記載のビデオゲームシステム。 - 前記ディスプレイ装置は、前記プレーヤを含む複数のプレーヤに前記仮想環境を提示するように構成された電子スクリーンを含み、前記仮想環境は、前記複数のプレーヤのそれぞれの仮想表現を含む、請求項1に記載のビデオゲームシステム。
- 前記少なくとも2つの感知ユニットは、高速インターネットプロトコル(IP)ネットワークを介して低遅延データ交換を提供するように構成された前記コントローラに通信可能に結合される、請求項1に記載のビデオゲームシステム。
- アミューズメントアトラクションのためのビデオゲームシステムであって、
前記アミューズメントアトラクションのプレイエリアの近傍に配置された少なくとも2つの感知ユニットであって、前記少なくとも2つの感知ユニットはそれぞれ、走査データを収集し、前記走査データに基づいて前記ビデオゲームシステムのプレーヤのそれぞれの部分的モデルを生成するように、それぞれのメモリ回路に記憶された1又は複数の命令を実行するように構成されたセンサを含み、前記部分的モデルは、前記プレーヤの部分的体積モデル、部分的骨格モデル、又は部分的影モデルを含む、少なくとも2つの感知ユニットと、
前記少なくとも2つの感知ユニット及び電子ディスプレイ装置に通信可能に結合されたコントローラであって、前記コントローラは、少なくとも1つのプロセッサを含み、前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサは、
前記少なくとも2つの感知ユニットの各々から前記プレーヤの部分的モデルを受け取るように構成され、前記受け取った部分的モデルは、前記プレーヤの部分的体積モデル、部分的骨格モデル、又は部分的影モデルを含み、前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサは、
前記プレーヤの少なくとも1つのモデルを生成するために前記少なくとも2つの感知ユニットの各々からの前記プレーヤの前記受け取った部分的モデルを融合し、
前記生成された少なくとも1つのモデルに基づいて前記プレーヤの仮想表現を生成し、
仮想環境内に前記プレーヤの部分的体積モデル、部分的骨格モデル、又は部分的影モデルに基づく前記生成された仮想表現を提示するように前記電子ディスプレイ装置に指示する、
ように構成される、コントローラと、
を含む、ビデオゲームシステム。 - 前記生成された仮想表現は、前記プレーヤの影モデルを含む、請求項12記載のビデオゲームシステム。
- 前記生成された少なくとも1つのモデルは骨格モデルを含み、前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサは、
前記プレーヤのゲーム内動作を識別するために前記骨格モデルの変化を分析し、
前記識別されたゲーム内動作に基づいて、前記仮想表現、前記仮想環境、又は両方を更新する、
ように構成される、請求項12に記載のビデオゲームシステム。 - 前記少なくとも2つの感知ユニットにより収集される前記走査データは、3次元走査データを含む、請求項12に記載のビデオゲームシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサは、高速IPプロトコルを介して前記走査データを受け取るように構成される、請求項12に記載のビデオゲームシステム。
- ビデオゲームシステムの動作方法であって、
コントローラの処理回路を介して、プレイエリア内に配置されたプレーヤの部分的モデルを受け取るステップであって、前記部分的モデルは、前記プレイエリアの近傍に配置された複数の感知ユニットの各感知ユニットのそれぞれの処理回路により生成され、前記受け取った部分的モデルは、前記プレーヤの部分的体積モデル、部分的骨格モデル、又は部分的影モデルを含む、ステップと、
前記コントローラの処理回路を介して、前記プレーヤの少なくとも1つのモデルを生成するために前記プレーヤの前記受け取った部分的モデルを融合するステップと、
前記コントローラの処理回路を介して、前記生成された少なくとも1つのモデルに基づいて前記プレーヤのゲーム内動作を決定するステップと、
前記コントローラの処理回路を介して、前記生成された少なくとも1つのモデル及び前記決定されたゲーム内動作に基づいて前記プレーヤの仮想表現を生成するステップと、
ディスプレイ装置を介して、仮想環境内に前記プレーヤの部分的体積モデル、部分的骨格モデル、又は部分的影モデルに基づく前記仮想表現を提示するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記受け取った部分的モデルは部分的骨格モデルを含み、前記受け取った部分的モデルを融合するステップは、
前記部分的骨格モデル間の1又は複数の差分を識別するステップと、
前記少なくとも1つのモデルとして滑らかにされた骨格モデルを生成するために前記識別された差分を平均化するステップと、
を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記受け取った部分的モデルを融合するステップは、前記コントローラに通信可能に結合されたシステムクロックを介して前記受け取った部分的モデルにタイムスタンプするステップを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の感知ユニットは、前記ディスプレイ装置から前記プレイエリアの反対側にそれぞれ配置される2つの赤外線(IR)感知ユニットを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
