Description

The present invention relates to a packaging bag, and in particular to a resealable packaging bag for packaging sheet-like packaged items such as patches.

As resealable packaging bags for packaging sheet-like packaged items such as patches, bags with zippers (chucks) at the openings of four-side sealed bags or three-side sealed bags are widely used. However, these packaging bags with zippers have problems such as high costs due to the zipper and low production efficiency. Also, the more airtight and liquid-tight the zipper is, the more likely it is to impair re-openability. Furthermore, zippers consist of convex and concave ridges, and when resealing, it is necessary to align the convex ridge with the concave ridge and push it into the concave ridge. This is a very difficult task, not only for able-bodied people, but especially for the elderly and disabled.

In light of this, a packaging bag as described in Patent Document 1 has been proposed in the past. As shown in FIG. 7(a), this packaging bag 1 is made of a front packaging film 2 and a back packaging film 3, and the outer periphery of the film is sealed. The space between the front and back packaging films 2, 3, whose outer periphery is sealed, serves as a storage section in which the packaged item 4 is stored. In addition, a cut 5 is formed in part of the outer periphery of the front packaging film 2, and a perforation 6 formed in the front packaging film 2 extends from this cut 5 to the opposite side.

When the upper part of the front packaging film 2 is torn and removed from the incision 5 along the perforation 6, the packaging bag 1 is opened and the packaged item 4 in the storage section can be removed. In addition, with the upper part of the front packaging film 2 removed, the removable adhesive part 7 provided around the inner surface (the surface facing the storage section) of the upper part of the back packaging film 3 is exposed. This makes it possible to reseal the storage section by folding back the upper part of the back packaging film 3 toward the storage section as shown in (b) of Figure 7. Therefore, when multiple packaged items 4 are stored in the storage section, even after one packaged item 4 has been removed, the remaining packaged items 4 can be stably stored by resealing.

When opening the packaging bag described in Patent Document 1, it is necessary to tear only the front packaging film, but because the outer periphery of the front packaging film is bonded to the back packaging film, it is difficult to tear only the front packaging film.

In addition, when the packaging bag is discarded, the torn packaging film and the remaining part of the packaging bag must be discarded separately, which creates the problem of time-consuming separation and collection of the waste.

Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a resealable packaging bag that can solve the problems described above.

In order to achieve the above object, the packaging bag according to the present invention comprises a back packaging film, a first front packaging film connected to a portion of the outer edge of the back packaging film, and a second front packaging film connected to a portion of the outer edge opposite to the portion of the outer edge of the back packaging film, and the opposing portions of the first front packaging film and the second front packaging film are separably joined together, and the outer peripheral portion between the back packaging film and the first front packaging film and the outer peripheral portion between the back packaging film and the second front packaging film are sealed to contain the packaged item inside. A storage section is formed for the first outer packaging film, the first outer packaging film can be separated from the back packaging film and the second outer packaging film to open the packaging bag, a part of the first outer packaging film is provided with a tab for manipulating the first outer packaging film, and a removable adhesive is applied to at least the first outer packaging film so that after the packaging bag is opened, the first outer packaging film can be re-adhered re-peelably to the back packaging film and the second outer packaging film to reseal the packaging bag.

The packaging bag according to the present invention, configured as described above, is easy to open because the outer packaging film is made up of two parts that can be separated by a tab. In addition, since one part of the packaging film does not separate from the other part after opening, the bag can be disposed of together after use, and it is also convenient for separate disposal.

In addition, because it uses a removable adhesive, it can be easily resealed by simply pressing it with the palm of your hand, making it extremely convenient compared to zippered packaging bags and dramatically improving ease of use for the elderly and disabled.

Below, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Note that the same or equivalent parts are designated by the same reference numerals throughout the drawings, and detailed descriptions thereof will be omitted.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of a packaging bag 10 according to the present invention. There are various possible shapes for the packaging bag, but for ease of explanation, the shape is rectangular in this embodiment. Note that "rectangle" also includes those with rounded corners. The packaging bag 10 is also capable of storing multiple sheet-like packaged items 12, such as patches, in its internal storage area.

The packaging bag 10 is composed of a front packaging film 20 and a back packaging film 30, and the front packaging film 20 is further composed of a first front packaging film 22 and a second front packaging film 24. As shown in FIG. 2(a), the first front packaging film 22 is connected to one side of the outer edge of the back packaging film 30, and the second front packaging film 24 is connected to one side opposite the outer edge of the back packaging film 30. In this embodiment, these packaging films 20 (22, 24), 30 are made from a single film material as shown in FIG. 2(a), and the first front packaging film 22 is a folded portion 22' extending from one side of the rectangular portion 30' that will become the back packaging film 30, and the second front packaging film 24 is a folded portion 24' extending from the other side of the rectangular portion 30' that will become the back packaging film 30.

These packaging films 20 (22, 24), 30 may have a single layer structure, but are preferably composite films of two or more layers. Materials constituting the packaging films 20 (22, 24), 30 include paper, siliconized paper, aluminum, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH), cyclic olefin copolymer (COC), polyacrylonitrile (PAN), cellophane, etc., and in the case of composite films, any combination of these may be considered.

At the tip portion (the portion on the free end side) of the second front packaging film 24, a perforation or other weakened line 42 extending parallel to the fold line 40 is provided to facilitate cutting of the second front packaging film 24. When the first and second front packaging films 22, 24 are folded and overlapped on the back packaging film 30, as can be seen from FIG. 1(a), the tip portion (the portion on the free end side) of the first front packaging film 22 extends in the direction of the fold line 40 beyond the weakened line 42 of the second front packaging film 24. The tip portion of the first front packaging film 22 that has exceeded the weakened line 42 and the tip portion of the second front packaging film 24 that has exceeded the weakened line 42 in the opposite direction are valley folded, and as shown in FIG. 2(b), the two are joined and sealed in a palm-to-palm state where the surfaces are in contact with each other. This joined portion becomes a tab 44 for pinching with the fingers. The first and second outer packaging films 22, 24 are preferably sealed together using a heat seal method, but other means such as pressure bonding using an adhesive may also be used.

The outer periphery between the second front packaging film 24 and the back packaging film 30 is preferably sealed inseparably by a heat sealing method. Of course, other sealing methods, such as pressure bonding using an adhesive, may also be used.

A removable adhesive is applied to the back packaging film 30 and the first front packaging film 22, particularly to the hatched portion 46 in FIG. 2(a), and the portion to which the adhesive is applied (removable adhesive portion) 46 removably seals the outer periphery between the first front packaging film 22 and the back packaging film 30. The removable adhesive portion 46 may be formed by attaching a double-sided tape having removable adhesive on one side to a predetermined location.

In this way, the entire outer periphery of the packaging bag 10 and the space between the tip portions 44 of the first and second outer packaging films 22, 24 are sealed, forming a space within the packaging bag 10, which functions as a storage area for storing multiple sheet-like packaged items 12.

Please note that FIG. 2 is intended to show the configuration of the packaging bag 10 according to one embodiment of the present invention, and does not show the manufacturing process, and various manufacturing processes are possible.

Next, a method of using the packaging bag 10 according to the present invention will be described with reference to Figures 1 and 2. First, the tab 44 formed by the tip portions of the first and second outer packaging films 22, 24 is pinched with the fingers and pulled, cutting the second outer packaging film 24 along the weakened line 42. Then, when the first outer packaging film 22 is further pulled against the adhesive force of the removable adhesive portion 46, the first outer packaging film 22 is peeled off from the inner packaging film 30, and the packaging bag 10 is opened as shown in Figure 1 (b). Once this opened state is reached, it becomes possible to remove at least one of the packaged items 12 inside.

After this, when the remaining packaged items 12 are to be stored, the first outer packaging film 22 is folded back along the fold line 48 (FIG. 1B). When the first outer packaging film 22 is folded back along the fold line 48, the removable adhesive in the portion indicated by the reference symbol 46' in FIG. 1B comes into contact with the tip portion of the second outer packaging film 24. Since the removable adhesive portions 46, 46' maintain their adhesiveness even after opening, the first outer packaging film 22 adheres to the outer periphery of the back packaging film 30 and the tip portion of the second outer packaging film 24, making it possible to stably store the remaining packaged items 12 (FIG. 1C). This resealing can be performed simply by folding the first outer packaging film 22 over the second outer packaging film 24 and pressing it with the palm of the hand, which is highly convenient and easy for the elderly and disabled to perform.

After all the packaged items 12 have been used, the entire packaging bag 10 can be discarded. Since only a portion of the packaging bag 10 is cut off and not discarded separately from the other portions, it is also convenient for separate disposal.

The above describes a preferred embodiment of the present invention, but it goes without saying that the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment.

For example, in the above embodiment, the removable adhesive portion 46' is disposed between the back packaging film 30 and the first front packaging film 22, but it is also possible to dispose the removable adhesive portion 46" adjacent to the tab 44, as shown in FIG. 3(b). In this case, it is preferable that the portion 47 of the first front packaging film 22 where the removable adhesive portion 46" is provided is folded in a tucked shape before opening, as shown in FIG. 3(a). With this configuration, even after opening, this portion 47 can maintain its tucked shape due to the removable adhesive portion 46", and in this state the removable adhesive portion 46" can be hidden. This makes it less likely that the removable adhesive portion 46" will get in the way when inserting or removing the packaged item 12. To reseal the package, simply unfold the tucked portion 47 to expose the removable adhesive portion 46", as shown in FIG. 3(b), fold the first outer packaging film 22 along the fold line 48', place it on top of the second outer packaging film 24, and press it down with the palm of your hand.

In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 3, the first front packaging film 22, the second front packaging film 24, and the back packaging film 30 are made from a single film material, but each of these packaging films 22, 24, and 30 may be made from a single film material, or one of the first and second front packaging films 22, 24 and the back packaging film 30 may each be made from a single film material, and the other of the first and second front packaging films 22, 24 may be made from a different film material. Also, the first and second front packaging films 22, 24 may be made from a single film material, and the back packaging film 30 may be made from a different film material.

In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 3, a portion of the packaging bag 10 is sealed with a removable adhesive, but the adjacent position of the removable adhesive may be heat sealed or the like to further increase the degree of sealing. Furthermore, when the first and second front packaging films 22, 24 and the back packaging film 30 are made from a composite film material, it is also possible to adopt a configuration in which one of the layers of the composite film material is a removable adhesive layer, and this adhesive layer is exposed when the bag is opened.

Various other configurations are also possible. For example, the packaging bag 10 shown in FIG. 4 is made of a single film material in which the first outer packaging film 22 and the second outer packaging film 24 are connected via a weakened line 42 such as a perforation. In the case of this packaging bag 10, a joint portion for joining the first outer packaging film 22 and the second outer packaging film 24 is not necessary. On the other hand, a protruding portion 50 is formed on one side of the first outer packaging film 22 as a tab. Even with this configuration, the same effects as the packaging bag shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 are achieved.

Although not shown in FIG. 4, the end of the protruding portion 50, which acts as a gripping piece, adjacent to the weakened line 42 can be cut into the first front packaging film 22 so as to continue to the weakened line 42, thereby guiding and facilitating tearing along the weakened line 42. Also, a protruding portion (not shown) roughly similar to the protruding portion 50 can be provided on the back packaging film 30 so as to be positioned below the protruding portion 50, and the weakened line 42 can be torn by gripping the two pieces of the protruding portion and the protruding portion 50.

In addition, in the packaging bag 10 shown in Fig. 5, only the base portions 52, 54 of the seam portions of the first and second outer packaging films 22, 24 are joined with a removable adhesive, and the other end portions of the seam portions are left unjoined. With this configuration, the seal between the first outer packaging film 22 and the second outer packaging film 24 is obtained by the removable adhesive, and the first outer packaging film 22 and the second outer packaging film 24 can be separated and opened by pinching the unjoined end portions of the first and second outer packaging films 22, 24 as tabs 57, 58, respectively, and pulling them apart as shown by the arrows in Fig. 5(a). With this configuration, there is no need to form weakened lines such as perforations. Also, as can be seen from FIG. 5(b), even if the fold line is not changed when resealing, the seal can be ensured when resealing by simply folding the first front packaging film 22 along the original fold line 48' and adhering the removable adhesive portion 52 of the first front packaging film 22 to the removable adhesive portion 54 of the second front packaging film 24.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 6, the tip portion of the second outer packaging film 24 may be left unprocessed, and the tip portion of the first outer packaging film 22 may be overlapped with the tip portion of the second outer packaging film 24, so that the tip of the first outer packaging film 22 forms a tab 44, and a removable adhesive portion 56 may be present between the overlapped portions of the first and second outer packaging films 22, 24.

As described above, it will be understood that the present invention can be modified and changed in various ways without departing from the scope of the present invention.

A packaging bag comprising a back packaging film, a first front packaging film connected to a portion of an outer edge of the back packaging film, and a second front packaging film connected to a portion of the outer edge opposite to the portion of the outer edge of the back packaging film,
the first and second outer packaging films are joined to each other via weakened lines so as to be separable from each other, and the outer peripheral portion between the rear packaging film and the first outer packaging film and the outer peripheral portion between the rear packaging film and the second outer packaging film are sealed to form a storage section for storing an item to be packaged therein;
The weakened line is formed in a portion of the second outer packaging film at a free end thereof,
A portion of the second outer packaging film on the free end side that exceeds the weakened line is joined to a portion of the first outer packaging film on the free end side in a palm-to-palm state in which the surfaces are in contact with each other,
