Description
このような臭素化ビスフェノール化合物として、例えば、テトラブロモビスフェノールA([2,2-ビス(3,5-ジブロモ-4-ヒドロキシフェニル)プロパン)、ジブロモビスフェノールA、テトラブロモビスフェノールF、テトラブロモビスフェノールSなどが挙げられる。
このようなビスフェノール化合物として、例えば、ビスフェノールA、ビスフェノールF、ビスフェノールSなどが挙げられる。
このような臭素化エポキシ化合物として、例えば、テトラブロモビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、ジブロモビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、テトラブロモビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂、テトラブロモビスフェノールS型エポキシ樹脂などが挙げられる。
このような非臭素化エポキシ化合物として、例えば、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールS型エポキシ樹脂などが挙げられる。
そして、硬化性樹脂組成物は、臭素化ビニルエステルと、ビニルモノマーとを配合することにより得ることができる。
1.臭素化ビニルエステル樹脂の調製
合成例1
撹拌機、還流冷却器、ガス導入管、温度計を備えた反応容器(フラスコ)に、テトラブロモビスフェノールA[2,2-ビス(3,5-ジブロモ-4-ヒドロキシフェニル)プロパン(臭素含有量58.8%)272質量部(1.00当量)、テトラブロモビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂(エポキシ当量400、臭素含有量48.0%)40質量部(0.10当量)、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂(エポキシ当量185)278質量部(1.50当量)、触媒としてトリエチルアミン1.2質量部、重合禁止剤としてハイドロキノン0.12質量部を仕込み、空気を導入しながら110℃8時間反応させた。次いで、メタクリル酸53質量部(0.62mol)を加え、さらに、4時間反応させることにより、酸価4.0mgKOH/gの臭素化ビニルエステルを得た。次いで、この臭素化ビニルエステルにスチレン430質量部を加えることにより、スチレン40質量%含有の臭素化ビニルエステル樹脂(臭素含有量16.7質量%)を得た。
配合処方を、表1の記載に従って変更した以外は、合成例1と同様に処理して、臭素化ビニルエステル樹脂を得た。
2.硬化性樹脂組成物の調製
実施例1
合成例1の臭素化ビニルエステル樹脂100質量部、トリメチロールプロパントリメタクリレート5質量部、硬化剤としてt-ブチルパーオキシ-2-エチルヘキサノエート(日油社製パーブチルO)1質量部を混合した。これにより、硬化性樹脂組成物(臭素含有量15.9質量%)を得た。
配合処方を、表1の記載に従って変更した以外は、実施例1と同様に処理して、硬化性樹脂組成物を得た。
3.評価
a.耐衝撃性(アイゾット衝撃試験)
各実施例および各比較例の硬化性樹脂組成物を厚さ4mmのシリコンゴム製スペーサーをガラス板2枚で挟んだ容器に注型した。熱風乾燥器中で、100℃×30分加熱した後、さらに150℃×30分加熱することより、厚さ4mmの成形品A得た。
b.耐熱性(ガラス転移温度測定)
上記の成形品Aより試験片(5mm×5mm×4mm)を切削加工し、熱機械分析装置(日立ハイテクサイエンス社製、EXSTAR TMA SS7100)で圧縮・膨張プローブを使用し、ガラス転移温度(Tg)を測定した。5℃/分の昇温速度で室温より200℃まで昇温し、測定される線膨張係数の変曲点よりガラス転移温度を決定した。
c.難燃性
各合成例のビニルエステル樹脂100質量部、トリメチロールプロパントリメタクリレート5質量部、t-ブチルパーオキシ-2-エチルヘキサノエート1質量部、充填材として水酸化アルミニウム150質量部を添加し、混合後、真空脱泡を行い、上記の成形品Aと同様に方法により硬化させ、厚さ3mmの成形品Bを得た。
Claims (4)
- 臭素化ビニルエステルと、ビニルモノマーとを含有し、
前記臭素化ビニルエステルは、フェノール成分およびエポキシ成分の反応生成物であるエポキシ樹脂と不飽和一塩基酸との反応生成物であり、
前記フェノール成分は、臭素化ビスフェノール化合物を含有し、かつ、フェノール成分に対して、非臭素化ビスフェノール化合物が、2.0質量%以下であり、
前記エポキシ成分は、臭素化エポキシ化合物と非臭素化エポキシ化合物とを含有し、
前記フェノール成分1モル当量に対して、前記エポキシ成分は、1.5モル当量以上2.0モル当量以下であり、
前記ビニルモノマーは、スチレン系モノマーと多官能(メタ)アクリレートとを含み、前記多官能(メタ)アクリレートの配合割合が、前記スチレン系モノマーと前記多官能(メタ)アクリレートとの総量100質量部に対して、5質量部以上20質量部以下であり、
前記臭素化ビニルエステルおよび前記ビニルモノマーの総量に対する臭素含有量が、15質量%以上20質量%未満であることを特徴とする、硬化性樹脂組成物。 - 前記フェノール成分1モル当量に対して、前記エポキシ成分が1.5モル当量超過1.85モル当量未満であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 前記臭素化ビニルエステルにおいて、前記臭素化ビスフェノール化合物に対する前記臭素化エポキシ化合物のモル当量比が、0.01以上0.25未満であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 前記多官能(メタ)アクリレートは、三官能(メタ)アクリレートであることを特徴とする、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
