Description
変形性膝関節症において、例えば、膝蓋骨と大腿骨の関節軟骨が損傷している場合には骨切術が適応される。そのような手術では骨に切り込みを入れて(もしくは骨折させて)骨の曲がりを矯正し、骨癒合するまでの間、骨接合用のプレートで固定される。プレートと骨との間に大きな隙間が生じる場合においては、固定が上手くいかない場合がある。そのような場合においては、一般的にはネジのヘッド部にネジが刻まれていない骨スクリュをプレートに打ち、プレートを骨に圧迫させると同時に骨切面あるいは骨折面の離間距離を短縮もしくは圧迫をかけるような操作が加えられる。
本実施形態に係る骨プレートキット1は、図1に示されるように、骨プレート2と骨ねじ3とを備えている。
骨プレート2は、長手軸Aを有し、骨Bと接触しない上面4と、骨Bと接触すべき下面5とを備えている。また、骨プレート2は、骨ねじ3を受容すべく配置され、上面4と下面5とを結ぶ複数のスクリュ孔(孔)6を有している。
凸部7の他の部分の稜からの高さは、望ましくは0.5mmから3mmであり、さらに望ましくは1mmから2mmである。
凸部7は、スクリュ孔6周りの稜周辺に、C字型に設けられていてもよく、スクリュ孔6中心周りに30°から290°の範囲に配置されているのが望ましく、60°から180°に配置されているのが最も望ましい。
図1に示されるように、骨プレート2の一端を骨ねじ3によって、骨Bの端部に固定した後、骨折線をまたぐ位置にあるスクリュ孔6へ圧迫用の骨ねじ3を挿入する。

Claims (9)
- 骨と接触しない上面、前記骨と接触すべき下面、並びに骨ねじを受容すべく配置され、前記上面と前記下面とを結ぶ複数の孔を有する骨プレートであって、
前記孔の少なくとも一つにおいて、前記孔の前記上面の稜の一部が、該稜の他の部分よりも高い凸部になるよう盛り上がって形成されている骨プレート。 - 少なくとも一つの前記孔の前記上面の稜の前記他の部分の一部が、前記稜の前記他の部分の残りの部分よりも低い凹部になるよう形成されている請求項1に記載の骨プレート。
- 前記凸部と前記凹部が、前記孔を挟んで向かい合うように形成されている請求項2に記載の骨プレート。
- 前記骨プレートが長手軸を有し、
前記凸部および前記凹部が、前記孔を隔てて前記長手軸方向に配列している請求項2または請求項3に記載の骨プレート。 - 前記凸部が、前記凹部よりも、骨折部に対して遠い位置になるよう形成された請求項2から請求項4のいずれかに記載の骨プレート。
- 前記孔の前記下面の稜における面取りが、前記長手軸方向に向かって延びるように形成されている請求項4に記載の骨プレート。
- 前記孔の内側の壁面が、頭部にねじが形成されている前記骨ねじと係合するような雌ねじを形成している請求項1から請求項6のいずれかに記載の骨プレート。
- 請求項1から請求項7のいずれかに記載の骨プレートと、頭部がテーパ形状をなす前記骨ねじとを備える骨プレートキット。
- 前記骨内に進入しない前記骨ねじの前記頭部と、前記骨内に進入する前記骨ねじのねじ部とをつなぐ首部が、前記骨内に進入する前記骨ねじの前記ねじ部の谷径よりも太い請求項8に記載の骨プレートキット。
