Description
Claims (6)
- 貫通孔と該貫通孔に挿通される軸との間の密封を図るための密封装置であって、
軸線周りに環状の補強環と、
前記補強環に取り付けられている前記軸線周りに環状の弾性体から形成された弾性体部とを備え、
前記弾性体部は、前記軸に該軸が摺動可能に当接する環状のシールリップと、前記シールリップよりも外側に設けられており前記外側に向かって延びる環状のサイドリップとを有しており、
前記サイドリップの内周側の面には、前記軸線周りに環状の溝である周方向溝が少なくとも1つ設けられており、また、前記軸線の方向に亘って延びる溝である軸方向溝が少なくとも1つ設けられており、
前記周方向溝と前記軸方向溝とは接続しており、
前記軸方向溝の外側の端部における幅は、前記軸方向溝の内側の端部における幅よりも小さく、
複数の前記周方向溝が設けられており、
前記軸方向溝は、互いに隣接する前記周方向溝の間に設けられていることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 貫通孔と該貫通孔に挿通される軸との間の密封を図るための密封装置であって、
軸線周りに環状の補強環と、
前記補強環に取り付けられている前記軸線周りに環状の弾性体から形成された弾性体部とを備え、
前記弾性体部は、前記軸に該軸が摺動可能に当接する環状のシールリップと、前記シールリップよりも外側に設けられており前記外側に向かって延びる環状のサイドリップとを有しており、
前記サイドリップの内周側の面には、前記軸線周りに環状の溝である周方向溝が少なくとも1つ設けられており、また、前記軸線の方向に亘って延びる溝である軸方向溝が少なくとも1つ設けられており、
前記周方向溝と前記軸方向溝とは接続しており、
前記サイドリップは、前記軸に取り付けられる環状の部材に接触するようになっており、
前記周方向溝と前記軸方向溝との少なくともいずれかの一部は、前記サイドリップが前記環状の部材に接触する部分に延びていることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 前記軸方向溝は、前記軸線に平行に延びていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の密封装置。
- 前記軸方向溝は、前記軸線に対して斜めに延びていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の密封装置。
- 前記軸方向溝の外側の端部における幅は、前記軸方向溝の内側の端部における幅よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の密封装置。
- 複数の前記周方向溝が設けられており、
前記軸方向溝は、互いに隣接する前記周方向溝の間に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の密封装置。
