Description
Claims (20)
- 血管内器具であって、
近位端部、遠位端部、および前記近位端部と前記遠位端部との間に延びる内側ルーメンとを備えた細長い部材と、
前記細長い部材の前記遠位端部のところに設けられたリング電極と、
前記リング電極の遠位端部のところに設けられた超音波センサと、
前記リング電極からの心電図信号をプロセッサに伝えるよう構成された第1の電気導体と、
前記第1の導体を前記リング電極に連結するアダプタ部材と、を有し、
前記第1の電気導体は、テーパ付き遠位セグメントを有し、
前記テーパ付き遠位セグメントの遠位部分は、前記アダプタ部材に取り付けられ、前記アダプタ部材の遠位部分は、前記リング電極に取り付けられ、
前記アダプタ部材の近位部分は、前記細長い部材内に設けられ、前記アダプタ部材の前記遠位部分は、前記リング電極内に設けられている、血管内器具。 - 前記血管内器具の遠位部分は、前記血管内器具の近位部分よりも柔軟性が高く、
前記第1の電気導体の前記テーパ付き遠位セグメントは、このテーパ付き遠位セグメントの遠位端部に向かう方向に大きな外径から小さな外径にテーパし、前記血管内器具の前記遠位部分の内部に設けられている、請求項1に記載の血管内器具。 - 前記第1の電気導体は、前記細長い部材の前記近位端部を越えて前記アダプタ部材の前記遠位部分から延びている、請求項1に記載の血管内器具。
- 前記アダプタ部材の前記近位部分は、前記細長い部材の前記遠位端部に取り付けられている、請求項1に記載の血管内器具。
- 前記アダプタ部材の前記近位部分と前記細長い部材の前記遠位端部の取り付け部が流体密シールを形成している、請求項4に記載の血管内器具。
- 前記アダプタ部材の前記近位部分を前記細長い部材の前記遠位端部に取り付けるために接着剤が用いられている、請求項5に記載の血管内器具。
- 前記テーパ付き遠位セグメントの前記遠位部分は、前記アダプタ部材に溶接され、
前記アダプタ部材の前記遠位部分は、前記リング電極に溶接されている、請求項1に記載の血管内器具。 - 前記超音波センサからの超音波信号を前記プロセッサに伝えるよう構成された第2の電気導体をさらに有し、
前記第1の電気導体および前記第2の電気導体は、前記細長い部材の内側ルーメン内に設けられている、請求項1に記載の血管内器具。 - 第1の端部および第2の端部を備えた電気コネクタをさらに有し、
前記第1の端部は、前記プロセッサに結合するよう構成され、
前記第1の電気導体の近位端部および前記第2の電気導体の近位端部は、前記電気コネクタの前記第2の端部に取り付けられている、請求項8に記載の血管内器具。 - 前記プロセッサは、前記リング電極からの前記心電図信号および前記超音波センサからの前記超音波信号を用いて計算された情報に基づいて前記血管内器具の遠位端部の位置を求めるよう構成されている、請求項8に記載の血管内器具。
- 前記超音波センサの周りに第1のエンクロージャを形成する第1の封入部材をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の血管内器具。
- 前記超音波センサの周りに第2のエンクロージャを形成する第2の封入部材をさらに有し、
前記第2の封入部材は、前記リング電極に取り付けられ、
前記第2の封入部材は、前記リング電極の周りに流体密シールを形成している、請求項11に記載の血管内器具。 - 前記第2の封入部材は、前記細長い部材の外径および前記リング電極の外径よりも大きい外径を有する、請求項12に記載の血管内器具。
- 前記第2の封入部材の前記外径は、0.02インチ(0.508mm)以下である、請求項13に記載の血管内器具。
- 前記細長い部材の前記外径と前記リング電極の前記外径は、実質的に等しい、請求項13に記載の血管内器具。
- 前記第2の封入部材は、血管に対して無傷性の先端部を形成している、請求項12に記載の血管内器具。
- 前記細長い部材は、ポリイミド管である、請求項1に記載の血管内器具。
- 血管内器具であって、
近位端部、遠位端部、および前記近位端部と前記遠位端部との間に延びる内側ルーメンとを備えた細長い部材と、
前記細長い部材の前記遠位端部のところに設けられたリング電極と、
前記リング電極の遠位端部のところに設けられた超音波センサと、
前記リング電極からの心電図信号をプロセッサに伝えるよう構成された第1の電気導体と、を有し、
前記第1の電気導体は、テーパ付き遠位セグメントを有し、
前記血管内器具の遠位部分は、前記血管内器具の近位部分よりも柔軟性が高く、
前記第1の電気導体の前記テーパ付き遠位セグメントは、このテーパ付き遠位セグメントの遠位端部に向かう方向に大きな外径から小さな外径にテーパし、前記血管内器具の前記遠位部分の内部に設けられている、血管内器具。 - 前記超音波センサからの超音波信号を前記プロセッサに伝えるよう構成された第2の電気導体をさらに有し、
前記第1の電気導体および前記第2の電気導体は、前記細長い部材の内側ルーメン内に設けられている、請求項18に記載の血管内器具。 - 前記プロセッサは、前記リング電極からの前記心電図信号および前記超音波センサからの前記超音波信号を用いて計算された情報に基づいて前記血管内器具の遠位端部の位置を求めるよう構成されている、請求項19に記載の血管内器具。
