Claims (3)
- ベアリングにおいて軸線について互いに相対回動可能な環状の外周側部材と該外周側部材に少なくとも部分的に包囲された環状の内周側部材との間を密封する密封装置であって、
前記外周側部材に取り付けられる密封装置本体と、
前記密封装置本体の外側に位置し前記内周側部材に取り付けられる前記軸線を中心とする環状のスリンガとを備え、
前記密封装置本体は、前記軸線を中心とする環状の補強環と、該補強環に取り付けられている、弾性体から形成されている前記軸線を中心とする環状の弾性体部とを備え、
前記弾性体部は、前記スリンガの外周側の端部である外周側端部よりも前記外周側を通って延びて前記内周側部材との間に間隙を形成する外周側ラビリンスリップと、前記外周側ラビリンスリップよりも内周側に位置し前記スリンガとの間に間隙を形成する内周側ラビリンスリップと、前記内周側ラビリンスリップよりも前記内周側に位置し前記スリンガに当接するサイドリップとを備え、
前記外周側ラビリンスリップは、該外周側ラビリンスリップの先端部が前記スリンガの前記外周側端部よりも前記軸線方向において前記外側に位置すると共に、前記外周側ラビリンスリップの前記外周側において前記内周側に窪む前記軸線を中心とする環状の溝部を形成しており、
前記スリンガは、前記外周側端部の少なくとも先端側の部分において前記軸線方向において前記内周側部材から離間しており、前記内周側に窪む前記軸線を中心とする環状の溝隙間部を形成し、
前記スリンガは、前記内周側部材の曲周面に沿う形状に形成された前記軸線を中心とする環状の曲面部と、前記曲面部の前記外周側の端部から前記外周側に設けられている前記外周側端部へ直線状に延びる平坦な面であり前記軸線を中心とする円盤状の円盤部とを備え、
前記スリンガの前記曲面部及び前記円盤部は、前記曲周面に沿って内側から前記外周側へ連続して形成されていて、
前記溝隙間部は、前記スリンガの前記円盤部の前記外周側端部の外側面と前記曲周面との間に形成されている
ことを特徴とする密封装置。 - 前記弾性体部は、前記外周側部材の外周面から前記外周側に突出する前記軸線を中心とする環状の堰部を備え、該堰部は前記外周側ラビリンスリップとの間に前記溝部を形成していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の密封装置。
- 前記弾性体部は、前記外周側ラビリンスリップと前記内周側ラビリンスリップとの間において前記スリンガに間隙をもって対向してラビリンスシールを形成していることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の密封装置。
