Description
鈴木式摩擦摩耗試験機(円筒端面接触スラスト型)を用いて、荷重(面圧)10kgf/cm2、すべり速度1m/minの条件で摺動を開始させた状態から、4分毎に2kgf/cm2の荷重を30kgf/cm2の荷重に達するまで累積負荷し、30kgf/cm2の荷重に達した後は5分毎に5kgf/cm2の荷重を累積負荷し、軋み音が発生したときの荷重を測定し、該荷重のひとつ手前の荷重を限界荷重とした。従って、数値が大きい荷重値である程、耐荷重性に優れていると共に軋み音が発生しないことを示す。摩擦係数については、限界荷重時の摩擦係数を示し、摩耗量については、試験前後の寸法変化量で示した。試験片及び相手材の寸法、材料及び試験方法を表1に示す。
(1)ポリアセタール樹脂(POM)
ポリアセタール樹脂として、オキシメチレン単位とコモノマー単位とを含有し、分子量50,000のポリアセタールコポリマー(ポリプラスチックス社製の「ジュラコンM90(商品名)」)。
(2)エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(EPDM)
エチレン含量65質量%でジシクロペンタジエン(DCP)をジエン成分(ジエン含量4.6質量%)とするエチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム〔三井化学社製の「三井EPT3092PM(商品名)」〕。
(3)エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(ケン化EVA)

(5−2)炭化水素系合成油(エチレン・αオレフィンオリゴマー)〔三井化学社製の「ルーカント(商品名)」〕
(6)エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体(EVA)
ビニルアセテート含有量28質量%のエチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体〔三井・デュポンポリケミカル社製の「エバフレックスEV260(商品名)」〕
表2〜4に示す成分を、表2〜4に示す量比で計量し、これらをタンブラーミキサーで混合して混合物を作製したのち、該混合物を二軸ベント式押出機に供給し、溶融混練して紐状の成形物を成形したのち裁断して成形材料としてのペレットを作製した。次いで、このペレットをスクリュー型射出成形機に供給して射出成形し、内径20mm、外径25.6mm、長さ15mmの寸法を有する円筒状成形物(摺動部材)を作製した。これらの円筒状成形物について、軋み音の発生面圧、耐荷重性、摩擦係数及び摩耗量の評価を前記評価方法に基づき実施した。結果を表2〜表4に示す。
エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(2)68.0質量%と、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−1)14.5質量%及びエチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−5)14.5質量%(見掛け上のケン化度70%)と、エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体(4−2)3質量%を計量し、これらをタンブラーミキサーで混合して混合物を作製したのち、該混合物を二軸ベント式押出機に供給し、溶融混練して紐状の成形物を成形したのち裁断してペレットを作製した。このペレット7質量部をポリアセタール樹脂(1)100質量部に配合し、タンブラーミキサーで混合して混合物を作製したのち、該混合物を二軸ベント式押出機に供給し、溶融混練して紐状の成形物を成形したのち裁断してペレット〔ポリアセタール樹脂(1)93.5質量%、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(2)4.4質量%、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−1)0.95質量%、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−5)0.95質量%及びエチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体(4−2)0.2質量%〕を作製した。次いで、このペレットをスクリュー型射出成形機に供給して射出成形し、内径20mm、外径25.6mm、長さ15mmの寸法を有する円筒状成形物(摺動部材)を作製した。
実施例16と同様の成分組成及び方法でペレットを作製した。このペレット7質量部と潤滑油剤(5−1)1質量部をポリアセタール樹脂(1)100質量部に配合し、タンブラーミキサーで混合して混合物を作製したのち、該混合物を二軸ベント式押出機に供給し、溶融混練して紐状の成形物を成形したのち裁断してペレット〔ポリアセタール樹脂(1)92.6質量%、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(2)4.4質量%、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−1)0.95質量%及びエチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−5)0.95質量%、エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体(4−2)0.2質量%及び潤滑油剤(パラフィン油)(5−1)0.9質量%〕を作製した。次いで、このペレットをスクリュー型射出成形機に供給して射出成形し、内径20mm、外径25.6mm、長さ15mmの寸法を有する円筒状成形物(摺動部材)を作製した。
エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(2)68.0質量%と、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−1)14.5質量%及びエチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−5)14.5質量%(見掛け上のケン化度70%)と、エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体(4−2)3.0質量%を計量し、これらをタンブラーミキサーで混合して混合物を作製したのち、該混合物を二軸ベント式押出機に供給し、溶融混練して紐状の成形物を成形したのち裁断してペレットを作製した。このペレット10質量部をポリアセタール樹脂(1)100質量部に配合し、タンブラーミキサーで混合して混合物を作製したのち、該混合物を二軸ベント式押出機に供給し、溶融混練して紐状の成形物を成形したのち裁断してペレット〔ポリアセタール樹脂(1)90.9質量%、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(2)6.2質量%、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−1)1.3質量%及びエチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−5)1.3質量%及びエチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体(4−2)0.3質量%〕を作製した。次いで、このペレットをスクリュー型射出成形機に供給して射出成形し、内径20mm、外径25.6mm、長さ15mmの寸法を有する円筒状成形物(摺動部材)を作製した。
実施例18と同様の成分組成及び方法でペレットを作製した。このペレット10質量部と潤滑油剤(5−1)4質量部をポリアセタール樹脂(1)100質量部に配合し、タンブラーミキサーで混合して混合物を作製したのち、該混合物を二軸ベント式押出機に供給し、溶融混練して紐状の成形物を成形したのち裁断してペレット〔ポリアセタール樹脂(1)87.7質量%、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(2)6.0質量%、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−1)1.25質量%、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−5)1.25質量%、エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体(4−2)0.3質量%及び潤滑油剤(パラフィン油)(5−1)3.5質量%〕を作製した。次いで、このペレットをスクリュー型射出成形機に供給して射出成形し、内径20mm、外径25.6mm、長さ15mmの寸法を有する円筒状成形物(摺動部材)を作製した。
実施例18と同様の成分組成及び方法でペレットを作製した。このペレット10質量部と潤滑油剤(5−1)1.5質量部及び(5−2)2.5質量部をポリアセタール樹脂(1)100質量部に配合し、タンブラーミキサーで混合して混合物を作製したのち、該混合物を二軸ベント式押出機に供給し、溶融混練して紐状の成形物を成形したのち裁断してペレット〔ポリアセタール樹脂(1)87.7質量%、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(2)6.0質量%、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−1)1.25質量%及びエチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−5)1.25質量%、エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体(4−2)0.3質量%、潤滑油剤(パラフィン油)(5−1)1.3質量%及び潤滑油剤(合成油)(5−2)2.2質量%〕を作製した。次いで、このペレットをスクリュー型射出成形機に供給して射出成形し、内径20mm、外径25.6mm、長さ15mmの寸法を有する円筒状成形物(摺動部材)を作製した。
エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(2)45質量%と、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体(6)45質量%と、エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体(4−2)10質量%を計量し、これらをタンブラーミキサーで混合して混合物を作製したのち、該混合物を二軸ベント式押出機に供給し、溶融混練して紐状の成形物を成形したのち裁断してペレットを作製した。このペレット5質量部をポリアセタール樹脂(1)100質量部に配合し、タンブラーミキサーで混合して混合物を作製したのち、該混合物を二軸ベント式押出機に供給し、溶融混練して紐状の成形物を成形したのち裁断してペレット〔ポリアセタール樹脂(1)95.2質量%、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(2)2.16質量%、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体(6)2.16質量%及びエチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体(4−2)0.48質量%〕を作製した。次いで、このペレットをスクリュー型射出成形機に供給して射出成形し、内径20mm、外径25.6mm、長さ15mmの寸法を有する円筒状成形物(摺動部材)を作製した。
前記比較例1と同様の成分組成及び方法でペレットを作製した。このペレット5質量部と潤滑油剤(5−1)3質量部をポリアセタール樹脂(1)100質量部に配合し、タンブラーミキサーで混合して混合物を作製したのち、該混合物を二軸ベント式押出機に供給し、溶融混練して紐状の成形物を成形したのち裁断してペレット〔ポリアセタール樹脂(1)92.6質量%、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(2)2.07質量%、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体(6)2.07質量%及びエチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体(C6)(4−2)0.46質量%及び潤滑油剤(パラフィン油)(5−1)2.8質量%〕を作製した。次いで、このペレットをスクリュー型射出成形機に供給して射出成形し、内径20mm、外径25.6mm、長さ15mmの寸法を有する円筒状成形物(摺動部材)を作製した。
エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(2)6.8質量%、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物(3−1)3.0質量%、エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体(C6)(4−2)0.2質量%及び残部ポリアセタール樹脂(1)を計量し、これらをタンブラーミキサーで混合して混合物を作製したのち、該混合物を二軸ベント式押出機に供給し、溶融混練して紐状の成形物を成形したのち裁断してペレットを作製した。このペレットをスクリュー型射出成形機に供給して射出成形し、内径20mm、外径25.6mm、長さ15mmの寸法を有する円筒状成形物(摺動部材)を作製した。
Claims (3)
- 主成分としてのポリアセタール樹脂に加えて、ポリアセタール樹脂組成物全体を100質量%として、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム1.5〜7質量%、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物0.5〜3質量%及びエチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体0.05〜0.3質量%を含有するがホルムアルデヒド補足剤及び炭素材を含有せず、エチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体ケン化物は、50〜100%のケン化度を有するポリアセタール樹脂組成物。
- ポリアセタール樹脂組成物全体を100質量%として、潤滑油剤0.1〜10質量%更に含有する請求項1に記載のポリアセタール樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のポリアセタール樹脂組成物より成る摺動部材。
