Description
(1)先端部が先端方向に向かって段階的に縮径しているコアシャフトと、
前記縮径した先端部の外周の少なくとも一部を覆うように巻回された内側コイル体と、
少なくとも前記内側コイル体の外周を覆うように巻回された外側コイル体と、
前記コアシャフトの先端と前記内側コイル体の先端と前記外側コイル体の先端とが互いに固着した先端固着部と、を備えているガイドワイヤであって、
前記コアシャフトの先端部は、前記先端固着部に連続する小径部と、この小径部よりも後端方向で前記内側コイル体および前記外側コイル体の内部に位置し、前記小径部よりも大きな外径を有する大径部と、前記小径部と前記大径部とに連続し前記小径部から前記大径部に向かって拡径するテーパ部とを有し、
前記テーパ部の外周面上には放射線不透過性物質を含むマーカ部が形成されており、前記マーカ部と前記内側コイル体との間に間隙を有していることを特徴とするガイドワイヤ、並びに
(2)前記コアシャフトが略一直線状に延びた状態で、前記内側コイル体と前記マーカ部との間の間隙が、先端方向に向かうにつれて広がっている前記(1)に記載のガイドワイヤ
に関する。

Claims (3)
- 先端部が先端方向に向かって段階的に縮径しているコアシャフトと、
前記縮径した先端部の外周の少なくとも一部を覆うように巻回された内側コイル体と、
少なくとも前記内側コイル体の外周を覆うように巻回された外側コイル体と、
前記コアシャフトの先端と前記内側コイル体の先端と前記外側コイル体の先端とが互いに固着した先端固着部と、を備えているガイドワイヤであって、
前記コアシャフトの先端部は、前記先端固着部に連続する小径部と、この小径部よりも後端方向で前記内側コイル体および前記外側コイル体の内部に位置し、前記小径部よりも大きな外径を有する大径部と、前記小径部と前記大径部とに連続し前記小径部から前記大径部に向かって拡径するテーパ部とを有し、
放射線不透過性物質を含むマーカ部が、前記テーパ部の全長に亘って、前記テーパ部の外周面を覆うように形成されており、前記マーカ部と前記内側コイル体との間に間隙を有していることを特徴とするガイドワイヤ。 - 前記マーカ部の外周面は凸状に湾曲している請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記コアシャフトが略一直線状に延びた状態で、前記内側コイル体と前記マーカ部との間の間隙が、先端方向に向かうにつれて広がっている請求項1または請求項2に記載のガイドワイヤ。
