Description
図3では、エンジン10の回転速度が一定である条件下で吸気圧に応じた、排気VVT機構28によりオーバーラップ期間が第1期間に設定された場合での吸入空気量(以下、第1吸入空気量と称する)と、オーバーラップ期間が第1期間よりも短い第2期間に設定された場合での吸入空気量(以下、第2吸入空気量と称する)とを示している。尚、上記の第2期間には、オーバーラップ期間がゼロとなる期間は含まれない。

Claims (1)
- 内燃機関の気筒の吸気弁及び排気弁の双方が開弁状態にあるオーバーラップ期間が仮に第1期間に制御された場合での前記内燃機関への第1吸入空気量を、吸気圧、前記内燃機関の回転速度、ウェストゲートバルブの開度、前記吸気弁及び排気弁のバルブタイミング、大気圧、及び筒内空気量に対応したマップに基づいて予測する第1予測部と、
前記オーバーラップ期間が仮に前記吸気弁のバルブタイミングを変更せずに前記排気弁のバルブタイミングを進角することにより前記第1期間よりも短い第2期間に制御された場合での前記内燃機関への第2吸入空気量を前記マップに基づいて予測する第2予測部と、
前記第1吸入空気量が前記第2吸入空気量よりも大きい場合には、前記オーバーラップ期間中に空気が前記吸気弁側から前記気筒内を介して前記排気弁側へ吹き抜けるスカベンジが発生すると予測し、前記第1吸入空気量が前記第2吸入空気量以下の場合には、前記スカベンジは発生しないと予測するスカベンジ予測部と、を備えた過給機付き内燃機関の制御装置。
