Description
前記ガイド部材に沿って、またはその上を、および/またはその中に、前記JVとの接合部を通って前記IPS内に、そして前記IPSの壁の湾曲部分における穿通部位を通して、前記シャントを遠位方向に前進させ、これにより前記シャントの遠位部分が前記CP角槽内に配置され、前記シャントの本体が前記IPS内に配置され、前記シャントの近位部分が前記JV内またはその近く配置される、ステップとを具える。
Claims (10)
- 患者に血管内シャントを移植するシステムであって、
患者の硬膜静脈洞内の、当該患者の下錐体静脈洞(IPS)の壁の湾曲部分の遠位の位置で展開するように構成された拡張可能なアンカーと、
当該アンカーに連結され、前記アンカーから近位方向に延びる細長いガイド部材と、
前記ガイド部材を受けるように構成された第1の管腔と、シャント送達カテーテルの近位開口部と遠位開口部のそれぞれの間に延在する第2の管腔とを具えるシャント送達カテーテルと、
前記シャント送達カテーテルの遠位端に結合された穿通要素と、
前記穿通要素の上に少なくとも部分的に配置され、前記穿通要素に対して可動であるガードとを具え、
前記ガードは、
前記穿通要素を受け入れるように構成された第1のガード本体管腔または凹部を有する管状のガード本体と、
前記ガード本体に取り付けられた遠位部分を有するプルワイヤとを具え、当該プルワイヤは、前記穿通要素を少なくとも部分的に露出させ、あるいは覆うように、前記ガード本体をシャント送達カテーテルに対してそれぞれ近位または遠位に並進させるように構成されていることを特徴とする血管内シャント移植システム。 - 請求項1に記載の血管内シャント移植システムにおいて、前記シャント送達カテーテルが、前記シャント送達カテーテルの前記近位開口部から遠位部分まで延在する第3の管腔をさらに具え、当該第3の管腔は、前記プルワイヤを受け入れるように構成されていることを特徴とする血管内シャント移植システム。
- 請求項1または2に記載の血管内シャント移植システムにおいて、前記ガード本体の遠位部分は斜めまたは先細になっていることを特徴とする血管内シャント移植システム。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の血管内シャント移植システムにおいて、前記ガード本体が、前記ガイド部材が通過できるように構成された第2のガード本体管腔を具えることを特徴とする血管内シャント移植システム。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の血管内シャント移植システムにおいて、前記ガード本体の壁内または壁上に配置された第1の放射線不透過性マーカーをさらに具え、前記ガード本体は前記穿通要素に対して移動可能であり、したがって前記第1の放射線不透過性マーカーが、少なくとも部分的に前記穿通要素の上に位置するように配置できることを特徴とする血管内シャント移植システム。
- 請求項5に記載の血管内シャント移植システムにおいて、前記プルワイヤは前記第1の放射線不透過性マーカーに連結されていることを特徴とする血管内シャント移植システム。
- 請求項5または6に記載の血管内シャント移植システムにおいて、前記送達カテーテルの遠位部分内または上に配置された第2の放射線不透過性マーカーをさらに具え、前記ガード本体は前記送達カテーテルに対して移動可能であり、したがって前記第1の放射線不透過性マーカーが部分的に前記第2の放射線不透過性マーカーの上に被さることを特徴とする血管内シャント移植システム。
- 請求項7に記載の血管内シャント移植システムにおいて、前記第2の放射線不透過性マーカーは、前記送達カテーテルの長手方向軸に対して所定の角度で配置されており、前記穿通要素の向きを示すことを特徴とする血管内シャント移植システム。
- 請求項7に記載の血管内シャント移植システムにおいて、前記第2の放射線不透過性マーカーは、前記第1および第2のシャント送達カテーテル管腔の両方を取り囲む、前記シャント送達カテーテルの円周部分を補強するマーカーバンドを具えることを特徴とする血管内シャント移植システム。
- 請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の血管内シャント移植システムにおいて、さらに、 前記送達カテーテルの第2の管腔に配置された血管内シャントデバイスと、
前記血管内シャントデバイスの近位の前記送達カテーテルの第2の管腔内にスライド可能に配置された細長いプッシャーとを具え、
前記細長いプッシャーは、前記血管内シャントデバイスの対応する近位のインターロック要素に取り外し可能に係合するように構成された遠位のインターロック要素を有するかこれに連結されていることを特徴とする血管内シャント移植システム。
