Description
図1は、第1実施形態に係る車外報知装置が搭載された自車両の構成を示すブロック図である。図1に示されるように、車外報知装置1は、自動運転システム100を備えた自動運転車両である自車両2に搭載されている。自動運転とは、自車両2の乗員(運転者等を含む)が運転操作をすることなく、予め設定された目的地に向かって自動で自車両2を走行させる車両制御である。まず、自動運転システム100について説明する。
次に、第2実施形態について説明する。以下においては、第1実施形態と異なる点を説明し、重複する説明は省略する。
Claims (3)
- 自車両の周辺環境及び前記自車両の状態に基づいて、前記自車両の周辺の交通参加者に対して前記自車両の行動予定に関する報知を行う必要性の有無を判定する報知必要性判定部と、
前記報知必要性判定部で前記報知を行う必要性があると判定した場合、前記自車両の前記周辺環境に基づいて、前記自車両の先行車が存在するか否かを判定する先行車判定部と、
前記報知を出力する報知出力部と、
前記先行車判定部の判定結果に基づいて、前記報知出力部を制御する報知制御部と、を備え、
前記報知制御部は、
前記先行車判定部で前記先行車が存在しないと判定した場合には、前記報知出力部から前記報知を出力させ、
前記先行車判定部で前記先行車が存在すると判定した場合には、前記自車両と前記交通参加者との間の距離に基づいて、前記報知出力部からの前記報知の出力を制限する、車外報知装置。 - 前記報知制御部は、
前記先行車判定部で前記先行車が存在すると判定した場合において、前記自車両と前記先行車との間の車間距離が前記自車両と前記交通参加者との間の距離以下のときには、前記報知出力部から前記報知を出力させず、
前記先行車判定部で前記先行車が存在すると判定した場合において、前記自車両と前記先行車との間の前記車間距離が前記自車両と前記交通参加者との間の前記距離よりも大きいときには、前記報知出力部から前記報知を出力させる、請求項1に記載の車外報知装置。 - 前記自車両の対向車が存在する場合、前記対向車の行動予定を判定する対向車行動予定判定部を備え、
前記報知制御部は、前記対向車が存在する場合、前記報知出力部から出力させる前記報知として、前記自車両の行動予定及び前記対向車行動予定判定部で判定した前記対向車の行動予定に関する報知を出力させる、請求項1又は2に記載の車外報知装置。
