Description
Claims (13)
- 動力工具(2)とともに用いるように配置され、かつ、前記動力工具(2)の作業組立体を駆動する、内燃機関(1)であって、前記作業組立体はクラッチを有し、前記内燃機関(1)は、
燃料及び空気の混合物(40)が供給される燃焼室(41)と、
前記燃焼室に近接して配設されて火花を生成することによって前記混合物(40)に点火するものであって、前記混合物の点火が前記機関のクランク部に動作可能に連結されたピストンを駆動する、点火プラグ(50)と、
燃料弁(32)及び絞り弁(23)を含む燃料供給システム(20)であって、前記燃料弁は前記混合物(40)への燃料供給を制御するように配置され、かつ、前記絞り弁は前記混合物への空気供給を制御するように調節可能である、燃料供給システム(20)と、
前記絞り弁(23)の動作の全範囲内において、前記絞り弁(23)の位置を判断するように構成される磁力感知素子と、
機関回転数を判断するように構成された回転数センサ(102)と、
前記燃料弁(32)及び前記点火プラグ(50)の作動を制御するように構成された制御部(100)であって、該制御部(100)は、前記回転数センサ(102)からの前記機関回転数の表示を受信し、かつ、前記絞り弁(23)の位置を検出するように構成された、制御部(100)とを備え、
前記内燃機関(1)は、起動モード又は通常モードのいずれかで起動するように構成され、
前記起動モードにおいて、前記制御部(100)は、前記絞り弁(23)の所定の動作範囲内であると検出される前記絞り弁(23)の位置に対応して、前記機関回転数を所定の回転数より下に維持する回転数制限動作を開始するように構成され、
前記通常モードにおいて、前記制御部(100)は、前記絞り弁(23)の所定の動作範囲外であると検出される前記絞り弁(23)の位置に対応して、回転数制限動作を開始せず、かつ、
前記絞り弁の全作動範囲内で、前記絞り弁の開閉方向に、前記絞り弁の初期位置から所定量移動しない限り、前記内燃機関(1)は前記起動モードで最初に起動される、
内燃機関(1)。 - 前記所定の動作範囲は、前記絞り弁の前記動作の全範囲のうちの一部のみである、請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記起動モードの前記回転数制限動作は、前記絞り弁が、前記絞り弁の前記所定の動作範囲外に移動するまで維持される、請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記所定の動作範囲は、前記絞り弁の前記動作の全範囲のうちの3から30パーセントである、請求項3記載の内燃機関。
- 前記所定の動作範囲は、前記絞り弁の前記動作の全範囲のうちの3から12パーセントである、請求項3記載の内燃機関。
- 前記回転数制限動作の前記所定の回転数は、前記クラッチが前記作業組立体と係合する前記機関のクラッチイン回転数である、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記回転数制限動作は、火花を加えることを省略することを含む、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記制御部は、回転数の増加が省略される火花数を増やすことになるように、現在の回転数と前記機関回転数の閾値との間の差異に基づく数の火花を省略するように構成される、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記制御部は、前記点火のタイミングを修正することによって前記回転数を制限するように構成される、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記機関は、チェーンソー、動力カッター、ポールソー、刈払機、ヘッジトリマ又はトリマに設けられる、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 絞り弁を含む内燃機関の制御方法であって、
内燃機関の起動において前記絞り弁の動作の全範囲内の前記絞り弁の初期位置を判断するステップと、
前記内燃機関を起動モードで起動すべきか又は通常モードで起動すべきかを判断するステップと、
前記絞り弁の所定の動作範囲内にある前記絞り弁の位置に対応して、前記絞り弁の全作動範囲内で、前記絞り弁の開閉方向に、前記絞り弁の前記初期位置から前記所定の動作範囲を超えて移動しない限り、前記起動モードで内燃機関を起動するステップであって、該起動モードで内燃機関を起動するステップは、前記内燃機関の起動において回転数制限動作を開始するステップを含み、前記回転数制限動作は所定のレベル以下の機関回転数を維持する、ステップと、
前記絞り弁の所定の動作範囲外にある前記絞り弁の位置に対応して、前記通常モードで機関を起動するステップであって、該通常モードで機関を起動するステップは、前記内燃機関の起動において前記回転数制限動作を開始することを含まない、ステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記絞り弁が前記所定の動作範囲外へ移動したことを検出することに対応して、前記回転数制限動作を停止するステップをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記磁力感知素子が、アナログホールセンサである、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
