Abstract
Description
周囲長が通信周波数における1/4波長より短い第1ループ状導体で構成されるスモールループアンテナと、
ループの一部を開口させる開口部を有し、前記スモールループアンテナの前記第1ループ状導体の開口径より開口径が小さな第2ループ状導体で構成され、前記第1ループ状導体が形成する面から所定距離離れた位置に配置される複数の共振器と、を備え、
前記複数の共振器のうち互いに隣接する共振器の前記第2ループ状導体の向きは、当該隣接する共振器が有する前記第2ループ状導体の開口部同士が近接しないように定められている。
また、隣接する第2ループ状導体の開口同士が近接しないことで、隣接するスプリットリング共振器同士の不要結合が抑制される。
図1(A)は第1の実施形態に係るRFIDタグ読み取り用アンテナ101の斜視図である。図1(B)はRFIDタグ読み取り用アンテナ101の正面図である。
第2の実施形態では、複数のスプリットリング共振器を備えるRFIDタグ読み取り用アンテナの例を示す。
第3の実施形態では、RFIDタグ読み取り用アンテナが備えるスプリットリング共振器の他の例を示す。

Claims (4)
- 周囲長が通信周波数における1/4波長より短い第1ループ状導体で構成されるスモールループアンテナと、
ループの一部を開口させる開口部を有し、前記スモールループアンテナの前記第1ループ状導体の開口径より開口径が小さな第2ループ状導体で構成され、前記第1ループ状導体が形成する面から所定距離離れた位置に配置される複数の共振器と、を備え、
前記複数の共振器のうち互いに隣接する共振器の前記第2ループ状導体の向きは、当該隣接する共振器が有する前記第2ループ状導体の開口部同士が近接しないように定められていて、
前記スモールループアンテナから前記共振器までの距離より、通信相手であるRFIDタグから前記共振器までの距離が短い位置にある前記RFIDタグと結合する、RFIDタグ読み取り用アンテナ。 - 前記共振器の前記第2ループ状導体の形成する面が、前記スモールループアンテナの前記第1ループ状導体が形成する面に対して平行となる関係で配置される、請求項1に記載の、RFIDタグ読み取り用アンテナ。
- 前記第2ループ状導体の概形は、直交する二軸方向に沿った辺を有する四角形であり、前記複数の共振器は、前記二軸方向に配列された、
請求項2に記載のRFIDタグ読み取り用アンテナ。 - 前記共振器の位置での磁界強度は、前記スモールループアンテナの中心位置での磁界強度より高い、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のRFIDタグ読み取り用アンテナ。
