Description
SOC0は充電および放電を開始する前のSOCを、Qは電流積算値(単位Ah)を、FCC(Full Charge Capacity)は満充電容量をそれぞれ示す。+は充電、−は放電を示す。なお、SOC_iを算出するに当たり、温度補正や電流補正等が施されたFCCを用いても良い。
なお、(式2)はOCV推定式の一例であり、その他の推定式を用いてもよい。例えば、温度補正が導入された推定式を用いてもよい。
V0(SOC) =Vocv(SOC)+ I × R(SOC) ・・・(式3)
Iは、リチウム析出の有無を判定するタイミングにおける充電電流Idである。抵抗R(SOC)は、図6に示されたSOCに対応するDCIRをR(SOC)として用いたものである。
図8において、リチウムイオン二次電池をSOC<SOCd1の領域において充電する場合には、V0(SOC)+VpとV1(SOC)は一致する。図8において、リチウムイオン二次電池をSOC≧SOCd1の領域において充電する場合には、V0(SOC)+VpとV1(SOC)に差が生じる。したがって、V1(SOC)に係るリチウムイオン二次電池をSOC≧SOCd1の領域において充電する場合には、V1(SOC)に係るリチウムイオン二次電池の負極にリチウムが析出していると判定できる。

Claims (7)
- リチウムイオン二次電池のSOC(State Of Charge)を推定するSOC推定部と、
前記リチウムイオン二次電池のリチウム析出を判定するための基準となるデータを保持する記憶部と、
前記SOC推定部により推定されたSOCに対する電池電圧の微分係数と、前記記憶部より読み出された基準となるSOCに対する電池電圧の微分係数とを比較し、これらの微分係数に差が認められる場合には、前記リチウムイオン二次電池にリチウムが析出したものと判定するリチウム析出判定部と、
を備える電池管理装置。 - リチウムイオン二次電池のSOC(State Of Charge)を推定するSOC推定部と、
前記リチウムイオン二次電池のリチウム析出を判定するための基準となるデータを保持する記憶部と、
前記SOC推定部により推定されたSOCおよび前記推定されたSOCに対応する電池電圧に基づく測定データと、前記記憶部より読み出された基準となるSOCおよび電池電圧に基づく基準データとを比較し、前記測定データと前記基準データとに差が認められる場合には、前記リチウムイオン二次電池にリチウムが析出したものと判定するリチウム析出判定部と、を備える電池管理装置であって、
前記基準データは、前記リチウムイオン二次電池の放電停止電圧を考慮して設定されたるデータである、電池管理装置。 - 前記基準となるSOCおよび前記基準となるSOCに対応する電池電圧は、初期状態のリチウムイオン二次電池を低レートで充電することにより測定されたものである、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の電池管理装置。
- 前記基準となるSOCおよび前記基準となるSOCに対応する電池電圧は、SOC−OCV(Open Circuit Voltage)テーブルとDCIR(Direct Current Internal Resistance)マップより求めたものである、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の電池管理装置。
- 前記電池管理装置は、充電条件変更部をさらに備え、
前記充電条件変更部は、前記リチウム析出判定部によりリチウムの析出が検出された電圧を、前記リチウムイオン二次電池の充電の上限電圧として設定する、請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の電池管理装置。 - 前記電池管理装置は、充電条件変更部をさらに備え、
前記充電条件変更部は、前記リチウム析出判定部によりリチウムの析出が検出された場合、前記リチウムイオン二次電池の充電レートを、前記リチウムの析出が検出された際の充電レートよりも低い充電レートに切り替える、請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の電池管理装置。 - 複数のリチウムイオン二次電池を備えた電池モジュールと、
前記電池モジュールの電圧を測定する電圧センサと、
請求項1から請求項6のいずれかに記載された電池管理装置と、
を備えた電源装置。
