Description
図1は、本実施形態に係る位置検出装置11が適用されるアクチュエータ10の断面図である。
次に、本実施形態に係る位置検出装置11の具体的構成について、図2の概略構成図を参照しながら説明する。
以上説明したように、本実施形態に係る位置検出装置11では、DA変換部としてのラダー回路20は、n個の磁気検出部18の各々から出力されたデジタル検出信号を、nビットのデジタル信号として受けた後に1つのアナログ出力信号にDA変換し、制御IC22に出力する。この結果、制御IC22は、n個のアナログ検出信号又はデジタル検出信号を順次読み出す必要がないので、1つのアナログ出力信号に基づき、磁石16が装着されたピストン14の位置を迅速に検出することができる。

Claims (6)
- 移動体に装着された磁石による磁気を検出し、該磁気に応じたアナログ検出信号を出力する磁気センサ素子、及び、前記アナログ検出信号をAD変換し、AD変換後のデジタル検出信号を出力する第1のAD変換器を有し、前記移動体の移動方向に沿って一定の間隔で設けられたn個の磁気検出部と、
前記n個の磁気検出部の各々から出力されたデジタル検出信号を、nビットのデジタル信号として受け、前記nビットのデジタル信号をDA変換し、DA変換されたアナログ出力信号を出力するDA変換部と、
前記DA変換部から入力された前記アナログ出力信号に基づいて前記移動体の位置を検出する位置検出部と、
前記位置検出部と前記n個の磁気検出部とを接続する信号線と、
を有し、
前記位置検出部は、検出した前記移動体の位置に対して所定の範囲内にある複数の磁気検出部を特定し、特定した複数の磁気検出部の各々から、前記信号線を介して、アナログ検出信号の値を読み出し、読み出した複数の前記アナログ検出信号の値に基づいて前記移動体の詳細な位置を特定することを特徴とする位置検出装置。 - 請求項1記載の位置検出装置において、
前記位置検出部は、入力された前記アナログ出力信号をAD変換する第2のAD変換器を備え、AD変換されたnビットのデジタル出力信号に基づいて前記磁石の位置を特定することにより、当該磁石を装着した前記移動体の位置を検出することを特徴とする位置検出装置。 - 請求項1又は2記載の位置検出装置において、
前記位置検出部は、特定した複数の前記磁気検出部から読み出した複数の前記アナログ検出信号の値を、特定した複数の前記磁気検出部の配置位置に応じてプロットすることで、前記移動方向に対する複数の前記アナログ検出信号の値の変化を示す波形を求め、求めた前記波形が0と交差するゼロクロスポイントを検索することにより、検索した前記ゼロクロスポイントの位置を前記移動体の詳細な位置として特定することを特徴とする位置検出装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の位置検出装置において、
前記位置検出部は、特定した前記移動体の詳細な位置に基づいて、前記移動体の移動速度及び/又は移動距離を算出することを特徴とする位置検出装置。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の位置検出装置において、
前記DA変換部は、R−2R型のラダー回路であることを特徴とする位置検出装置。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の位置検出装置において、
前記n個の磁気センサ素子は、ホール素子であり、
前記移動体は、アクチュエータのシリンダチューブ内を前記移動方向に沿って移動するピストンであり、
前記磁石は、前記移動方向に沿った磁極の向きで前記ピストンに装着され、
前記n個の磁気検出部は、前記シリンダチューブの外側で前記移動方向に沿って一列に配置されていることを特徴とする位置検出装置。
