Claims (4)
- 入力電圧をLEDストリップが作動するのに必要な動作電圧にまで上げる仕組みの昇圧回路と、
前記LEDストリップの負極に接続されることによって、前記LEDストリップの動作電流を調節する仕組みの電流制御モジュールと、
前記入力電圧が減少しているかどうかを検出する電圧検出回路と、
前記昇圧回路に第1パルス幅変調信号を提供することで前記昇圧回路の昇圧機能を制御し、かつ、前記電流制御モジュールに第2パルス幅変調信号を提供することで前記電流制御モジュールの電流調節機能を制御するバックライト駆動制御回路と、を備えるLEDバックライトであって、
前記昇圧回路は、インダクタと、第1MOSトランジスタと、整流ダイオードと、コンデンサと、を備え、そのうち、前記インダクタの一端は前記入力電圧を受信し、前記インダクタの他端は前記整流ダイオードの正極に接続されるとともに、前記第1MOSトランジスタのドレイン電極に接続され、前記整流ダイオードの負極は前記LEDストリップの正極に接続されるとともに、前記コンデンサの一端に接続され、前記第1MOSトランジスタのグリッド電極は前記バックライト駆動制御回路からの前記第1パルス幅変調信号を受けて制御され、前記第1MOSトランジスタのソース電極と前記コンデンサの他端はどちらもグランドと電気接続され、
前記電流制御モジュールは、第3MOSトランジスタと第5抵抗器とを備え、そのうち、前記第3MOSトランジスタのグリッド電極は前記バックライト駆動制御回路からの前記第1パルス幅変調信号を受けて制御され、前記第3MOSトランジスタのドレイン電極は前記LEDストリップの負極に接続され、前記第3MOSトランジスタのソース電極は前記第5抵抗器の一端に接続され、前記第5抵抗器の他端はグランドと電気接続され、
前記電圧検出回路は、前記入力電圧を分圧回路で分圧することによってコントラスト電圧を生成するとともに、前記コントラスト電圧を所定の参考電圧と比較して前記コントラスト電圧の減少を検出し、
前記バックライト駆動制御回路は、前記コントラスト電圧の減少が前記電圧検出回路で検出された場合、前記第1パルス幅変調信号の周波数を増加させて入力電流を減少させ、かつ、前記第2パルス幅変調信号のデューティー比を減少させて前記LEDストリップの動作電流を減らす
ことを特徴とするLEDバックライト。 - 請求項1に記載のLEDバックライトにおいて、
前記LEDストリップは、所定の数の直列接続したLEDを備える
ことを特徴とするLEDバックライト。 - 液晶表示装置であって、向かい合わせに設置された液晶表示パネル及びバックライトモジュールからなり、そのうち、前記バックライトモジュールが前記液晶表示パネルに表示光源を提供することによって、前記液晶表示パネルに画像を表示することができ、前記バックライトモジュールはLEDバックライトからなり、そのうち、前記LEDバックライトは、
入力電圧をLEDストリップが作動するのに必要な動作電圧にまで上げる仕組みの昇圧回路と、
前記LEDストリップの負極に接続されることによって、前記LEDストリップの動作電流を調節する仕組みの電流制御モジュールと、
前記入力電圧が減少しているかどうかを検出する電圧検出回路と、
前記昇圧回路に第1パルス幅変調信号を提供することで前記昇圧回路の昇圧機能を制御し、かつ、前記電流制御モジュールに第2パルス幅変調信号を提供することで前記電流制御モジュールの電流調節機能を制御するバックライト駆動制御回路と、を備えるLEDバックライトであって、
前記昇圧回路は、インダクタと、第1MOSトランジスタと、整流ダイオードと、コンデンサと、を備え、そのうち、前記インダクタの一端は前記入力電圧を受信し、前記インダクタの他端は前記整流ダイオードの正極に接続されるとともに、前記第1MOSトランジスタのドレイン電極に接続され、前記整流ダイオードの負極は前記LEDストリップの正極に接続されるとともに、前記コンデンサの一端に接続され、前記第1MOSトランジスタのグリッド電極は前記バックライト駆動制御回路からの前記第1パルス幅変調信号を受けて制御され、前記第1MOSトランジスタのソース電極と前記コンデンサの他端はどちらもグランドと電気接続され、
前記電流制御モジュールは、第3MOSトランジスタと第5抵抗器とを備え、そのうち、前記第3MOSトランジスタのグリッド電極は前記バックライト駆動制御回路からの前記第1パルス幅変調信号を受けて制御され、前記第3MOSトランジスタのドレイン電極は前記LEDストリップの負極に接続され、前記第3MOSトランジスタのソース電極は前記第5抵抗器の一端に接続され、前記第5抵抗器の他端はグランドと電気接続され、
前記電圧検出回路は、前記入力電圧を分圧回路で分圧することによってコントラスト電圧を生成するとともに、前記コントラスト電圧を所定の参考電圧と比較して前記コントラスト電圧の減少を検出し、
前記バックライト駆動制御回路は、前記コントラスト電圧の減少が前記電圧検出回路で検出された場合、前記第1パルス幅変調信号の周波数を増加させて入力電流を減少させ、かつ、前記第2パルス幅変調信号のデューティー比を減少させて前記LEDストリップの動作電流を減らす
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記LEDストリップは、所定の数の直列接続したLEDを備える
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
