Claims (3)
- 自車両の後部に設けられて後側方探知エリアを探知する後側方探知手段と、
前記自車両の後部に被牽引物が連結されているか否かを検出する被牽引物検出手段と、
前記被牽引物検出手段で前記被牽引物の連結が検出された場合、前記後側方探知手段からの探知信号のみに基づいて前記被牽引物の後端から一定距離離間した位置に停止判定しきい距離を設定する停止判定しきい距離設定手段と、
前記自車両と前記被牽引物との連結部の折れ角を検出する折れ角検出手段と、
前記停止判定しきい距離設定手段で設定した前記停止判定しきい距離を、前記折れ角検出手段で検出した前記折れ角に基づいて前記被牽引物の後方に修正する停止判定しきい距離修正手段と
を備えることを特徴とする車両の後退支援装置。 - 前記被牽引物検出手段は、前記自車両を発進させた後、設定車速と設定時間の一方に達するまでの間に前記後側方探知手段からの探知信号に基づき、走行時に一定距離を保持して追従する物体の有無を検出し、追従する該物体が検出された場合、前記被牽引物が連結されていると判定する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両の後退支援装置。 - セレクトレバーのセット位置を検出するセレクトポジション検出手段と、
前記セレクトポジション検出手段で前記セレクトレバーがリバースレンジにセットされていると判定した場合、前記後側方探知手段を牽引モードに設定して、該後側方探知手段で受信した前記被牽引物後方からの反射波に基づき該被牽引物後方の障害物までの距離を検出する障害物距離検出手段と、
前記障害物距離検出手段で検出した前記障害物までの距離と前記停止判定しきい距離設定手段で設定した前記停止判定しきい距離とを比較し、前記障害物までの距離が前記停止判定しきい距離に達したときに前記自車両の後退を停止させる自動ブレーキ制御手段と
を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1或いは2記載の車両の後退支援装置。
