Description
電池モジュールにおいて電池セル又は単位モジュール(ppp単位セルppp)の電極リードをレーザー溶接による結合方式で電気的連結するためのバスバーであって、
前記電極リードとバスバーはそれぞれ板状の構造になっており、
前記バスバーにおいてレーザー照射により電極リードと溶接される部位が電極リードに密着するように、電極リードの位置している方向に突出した突起部が電極リードとの溶接部位に形成されている。
Claims (13)
- 複数の板状型の電池セルの電極リード又は単位モジュールの電極端子をレーザー溶接による結合方式で電気的連結するためのバスバーであって、
前記電極リード又は電極端子と前記バスバーはそれぞれ板状の構造になっており、前記バスバーにおいてレーザー照射により前記電極リード又は前記電極端子の平坦部と溶接される部位が前記電極リード又は前記電極端子に密着するように、前記電極リード又は前記電極端子の位置している方向に突出した突起部が、前記電極リード又は前記電極端子の前記平坦部との溶接部位に形成されている、
ことを特徴とする、バスバー。 - 前記突起部は、垂直断面からみて、半円形又は半楕円形に折れ曲がっていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバスバー。
- 前記電池セル同士の電気的連結は、並列連結であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバスバー。
- 前記突起部は、少なくとも一箇所以上に形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバスバー。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載のバスバーが、前記単位モジュールの電極端子に電気的に連結されていることを特徴とする電池モジュール。
- 前記電池モジュールは、
直列及び/又は並列に連結された複数の前記単位モジュールが積層されている電池セル積層体と、
前記電池セル積層体の一側面の端部と、上端及び下端の一部を取り囲む構造となっている上ケースと、
前記電池セル積層体の他側面の端部と、上端及び下端の一部を取り囲みながら前記上ケースと結合する構造となっており、且つ前記バスバーが装着される装着部を有している下ケースと、
を備えることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記下ケースの前面部に前記バスバーが設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記バスバーは、前記下ケースの前面に密着する本体と、前記単位モジュールの電極端子に電気的に連結される電極端子接続部と、からなることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記本体において、一側端部は、外部入出力端子と連結される入出力端子接続部であり、他側端部は、前記下ケースに装着される装着突起であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記入出力端子接続部は、外部入出力端子が下方に挿入されるように、内側に湾入した部位が前記本体の上部に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電極端子接続部は、前記本体に対して垂直上方に折れ曲がっていることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記単位モジュールは、
電極リード同士が直列及び/又は並列に相互連結されている2つ又はそれ以上の電池セルと、
前記電池セルの前記電極リード部位を除いて電池セルの外面全体を取り囲むように相互結合する1対の高強度セルカバーと、
を備えることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記電池セルは、前記電極リードが上端及び下端にそれぞれ形成されている板状型の電池セルであることを特徴とする、請求項12記載の電池モジュール。
