患者の口の口内走査から得る第2のデータセットを受け取り、前記第2のデータセットは、患者の口内の歯肉面及び歯に関連しており、
前記第1のデータセットと前記第2のデータセットに共通の特徴に注目した形状マッチングアルゴリズムを用いて、前記第1のデータセットと前記第2のデータセットとをマージし、前記共通の特徴は、少なくとも1本の現存の歯を含み、
前記第1のデータセットと前記第2のデータセットに基づいて患者の口内の3D解剖学的モデルをディスプレイに表示し、前記3D解剖学的モデルは、前記骨組織、前記歯、前記歯肉面、及び、前記骨組織と前記歯肉面との間の歯肉組織の表示を含み、
前記ディスプレイ上の前記3D解剖学的モデルに、前記骨組織の表示内の前記仮想的歯科用インプラント(163)と、前記仮想的歯科用インプラント(163)に取り付けられ前記歯肉組織の表示内に伸びる前記仮想的アバットメント(162)とを表示することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記仮想的歯科用インプラント(163)の位置を決定後、前記3D解剖学的モデルに少なくとも部分的に基づいて外科用ガイド(390)を作製し、前記外科用ガイド(390)は、前記患者の口内で前記仮想的歯科用インプラント(163)と一致する位置に前記歯科用インプラントの埋め込みをガイドし、前記外科用ガイド(390)は、金属チューブ(20)を有し、前記金属チューブ(20)を通して前記歯科用インプラント(10)を埋め込むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記3D解剖学的モデルを表示することは、前記歯肉面と前記骨組織との間の、前記歯肉組織の決められた厚さに対応する領域を満たすことを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記3D解剖学的モデルの前記表示された歯肉組織を通る開口を前記ディスプレイに表示することをさらに含み、前記開口は、前記仮想的歯科用インプラントに通じることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
