Description
Claims (16)
- ネットワーク機能仮想化(NFV)を実行する装置であって、
メモリと、
前記メモリに結合されたプロセッサと
を有し、
前記メモリは、前記プロセッサにより実行された場合、前記装置に対して、
ネットワーク内のネットワークデバイスを仮想化する命令を受信し、
前記命令に従って、前記ネットワークデバイスを、前記ネットワークデバイスに対応する仮想化ネットワークノードを形成するために使用される複数のネットワーク機能ユニット(NF)に分割し、
1つ以上の仮想コンテナ内において前記NFを開始し、
前記仮想化ネットワークノードに対応するグループ識別子(ID)を使用して前記仮想コンテナを一緒にグループ化する
ことを実行させる命令を含み、
前記NFのそれぞれは、仮想化前に前記ネットワークデバイスにより実行されるネットワーク機能に対応する装置。 - 前記グループIDは、前記仮想化ネットワークノードに割り当てられたデバイスIDである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記NFのそれぞれは、異なる仮想コンテナにホストされる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記NFの少なくともいくつかは、ネットワーク接続性に従って、一緒にグループ化され、前記仮想コンテナの1つの中に配置される、或いは、
一緒にグループ化され、前記仮想コンテナの前記1つの中に配置された前記NFの少なくともいくつかは、カスタマネットワークを接続するために使用されるユーザ・ネットワーク・インタフェース(UNI)に対応し、前記NFの少なくともいくつかは、前記ネットワークデバイスにより提供されるネットワークサービスに従って、一緒にグループ化され、前記仮想コンテナの1つの中に配置される、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 第2の一式のNFは、前記ネットワークと通信するために使用されるネットワーク・ネットワーク・インタフェース(NNI)を実現するために、第2の仮想コンテナ内にグループ化される、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記仮想コンテナの前記1つは、カスタマプロバイダエッジ(CPE)ノードの機能に対応する1つ以上のNFを有する、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記仮想化ネットワークノードは、前記ネットワークデバイスにより実行される前記ネットワーク機能の一部を実現するように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- ネットワーク機能仮想化(NFV)を実行する装置であって、
メモリと、
前記メモリに結合されたプロセッサと
を有し、
前記メモリは、前記プロセッサにより実行された場合、前記装置に対して、
ネットワーク内の非仮想化ネットワークデバイスにより実行される複数のネットワーク機能に対応する複数のNFを生成し、
1つ以上の仮想コンテナ内において前記NFをロードし、
非仮想化ネットワークデバイスにより実行される前記ネットワーク機能を識別するグループ識別子(ID)を使用して前記仮想コンテナを一緒にグループ化し、
前記仮想コンテナのそれぞれについてリソース利用を監視し、
前記仮想コンテナのそれぞれの前記リソース利用に従ってリソース割り当てを調整する
ことを実行させる命令を含む装置。 - 前記非仮想化ネットワークデバイスにより実行される前記ネットワーク機能の一部は、前記仮想コンテナにオフロードされる、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記仮想コンテナは、複数のハードウェアリソースノードに位置し、前記プロセッサにより実行される命令は、更に、前記装置に対して、前記ハードウェアリソースノードの1つから他のハードウェアリソースノードへの前記仮想コンテナの1つの移動をトリガーさせる、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記グループIDは、前記仮想コンテナの中で内部通信を提供するために使用される、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記プロセッサにより実行される命令は、更に、前記装置に対して、前記グループIDを、基礎のネットワークにより提供されるネットワークIDにマッピングさせる、請求項8に記載の装置。
- ネットワーク機能仮想化(NFV)を実行する方法であって、
ネットワーク内に参加するプロバイダエッジ(PE)デバイスを仮想化する命令を受信するステップと、
前記PEデバイスを複数のネットワーク機能ユニット(NF)に分割するステップであり、前記NFのそれぞれは、PEネットワーク機能を実行するために使用されるステップと、
前記命令に基づいて前記NFを1つ以上のNFグループにグループ化するステップと、
前記NFグループのそれぞれを仮想コンテナに配置するステップと、
前記仮想コンテナを使用して複数のデータパケットを転送するステップと
を有する方法。 - 前記NFグループの1つは、プロバイダにより提供された仮想プライベートネットワークサービス機能を提供するために使用される、或いは、前記NFグループの1つは、前記ネットワーク内で通信を容易にするために使用されるPEコア側のネットワーク機能を提供するために使用される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記NFグループの1つをホストする前記仮想コンテナはまた、カスタマプロバイダエッジ(CPE)ネットワーク機能を提供する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記PEデバイスは、前記NFグループの前記1つがPEコア側のネットワーク機能を実現するようにデータパケットを前記ネットワーク内の非仮想化PEデバイスに転送するために、部分的に仮想化され、前記PEコア側のネットワーク機能は、前記ネットワーク内で通信を容易にするために使用される、請求項14に記載の方法。
