Description
Claims (5)
- (1)フロート法で板状に成形して、強化用ガラス基板を得る工程と、
(2)強化用ガラス基板のトップ面及び/又はボトム面を研磨する工程と、
(3)強化用ガラス基板をイオン交換処理して、ボトム面の圧縮応力値をトップ面の圧縮応力値より大きくする工程を有し、
前記工程(2)が、トップ面の研磨厚みがボトム面の研磨厚みより大きくなるように、トップ面及び/又はボトム面を研磨する工程であることを特徴とする強化ガラス基板の製造方法。 - 強化ガラス基板のΔCS(ボトム面の圧縮応力値−トップ面の圧縮応力値)が5〜39MPaであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の強化ガラス基板の製造方法。
- 強化ガラス基板の反り率が0.20%未満であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の強化ガラス基板の製造方法。
- 強化ガラス基板が、ガラス組成として、質量%で、SiO 2 40〜71%、Al 2 O 3 7〜21%、Li 2 O 0〜1%、Na 2 O 7〜20%、K 2 O 0〜15%を含有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の強化ガラス基板の製造方法。
- 強化ガラス基板をディスプレイのカバーガラスに用いることを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の強化ガラス基板の製造方法。
