Claims (3)
- ディスクロータの両側部にそれぞれ配設され、ピストンを挿通するシリンダ孔をそれぞれ備えた一対の作用部を、前記ディスクロータの外周を跨ぐブリッジ部で連結すると共に、一方の作用部のディスク回転方向両側部に、車体取付ボルトを挿通するディスク半径方向のボルト挿通孔を貫通形成した車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディにおいて、前記シリンダ孔の開口側内周面に、ダストシールを嵌着するダストシール装着溝を形成すると共に、該ダストシール装着溝よりもシリンダ孔の底部側内周面にピストンシールを嵌着するピストンシール装着溝を形成し、前記ピストンシール装着溝のディスク軸方向の中心線が、前記ボルト挿通孔の中心軸よりも前記ディスクロータ側に配置され、
前記ボルト挿通孔の中心軸は、前記シリンダ孔の開口端と前記シリンダ孔の底部とを繋ぐディスク軸方向線の中央部よりも前記ディスクロータ側に配置されていることを特徴とする車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディ。 - 前記ピストンシール装着溝のディスク軸方向の幅寸法は、前記ダストシール装着溝のディスク軸方向の幅寸法と同一か或いは狭く形成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディ。
- 前記キャリパボディは、前記一対の作用部と前記ブリッジ部とを一体に形成したモノコックタイプであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディ。
