Claims (1)
- 燃料ガスと酸化剤ガスとにより発電する燃料電池装置であって、
電気的に接続された複数の燃料電池セルを有し、当該燃料電池セルにおいて燃料ガスと酸化剤ガスとが反応することで発電する燃料電池セル集合体を備え、
前記複数の燃料電池セルはそれぞれ、電解質層と、電解質層を挟んで内側に形成される内側電極と、前記内側電極とは反対側である外側に形成される外側電極と、を有すると共に、その端部において前記電解質層及び前記外側電極の一部が除去されることで前記内側電極の一部が露出しており、
前記内側電極の露出部分を覆うように集電キャップが配置されると共に、一の燃料電池セルに配置された前記集電キャップと、他の燃料電池セルの前記外側電極とを繋ぐ集電部材とが配置され、
前記集電キャップに形成され、前記集電キャップの外周面で且つ前記集電キャップの前記外側電極に臨む端部に設けられ、前記集電部材が前記一の燃料電池セルの前記外側電極に接触することを防止する突出部を有し、
前記突出部は、前記外側電極に近い方に形成される大径部と前記外側電極より遠い方に形成される小径部とを有するテーパ状に形成されていることを特徴とする燃料電池装置。
