前記インサート部材に接続された複数の力感知センサーと、電子装置との通信用に構成されたポートとを備える、センサーシステムであって、前記力感知センサーの少なくとも一つが、前記中央部分に配置され、前記力感知センサーの少なくとも一つが、前記第一の趾骨部分に配置され、前記力感知センサーの少なくとも一つが前記踵部分に配置されており、また前記ポートが前記中央部分に配置されている、センサーシステムと、を備えたインサート。 - 前記インサート部材が前記インサート部材の周辺を画定する周辺端を持ち、また前記周辺端が、前記中央部分の内側から前記かかと部分の内側に延びる後方内側端と、前記中央部分の外側から前記かかと部分の外側に延びる後方外側端とを備え、前記後方内側端と前記後方外側端がそれぞれ、少なくとも一つの内側に湾曲した端部を持つ、請求項1に記載のインサート。
- 前記センサーシステムが、前記インサート部材の前記第一の趾骨部分上に配置された第一の趾骨センサーと、前記インサート部材の前記中央部分に位置する第一の中足骨センサーおよび第五の中足骨センサーと、前記インサート部材の前記かかと部分に位置するかかとセンサーとを含む、少なくとも4つのセンサーを備えた、請求項1に記載のインサート。
- 前記センサーシステムが、前記ポートから前記複数の力感知センサーのそれぞれに延びる複数のリード線をさらに備えた、請求項1に記載のインサート。
- 前記複数の力感知センサーが、2つの電極および前記電極間に配置された力感知抵抗材料を備えた力感知抵抗センサーである、請求項1に記載のインサート。
- 前記インサート部材が、柔軟性のあるポリマー ウェビングを備えている、請求項1に記載のインサート。
- 前記複数の力感知センサーがそれぞれ、力感知抵抗材料と接触した一対の電極を備え、前記センサーシステムが、前記力感知センサーから前記ポートに延びる複数のリード線をさらに備え、また前記インサート部材が、その上に位置する前記電極およびリード線を持つ第一の層と、その上に前記力感知抵抗材料を持つ第二の層とを備える、請求項1に記載のインサート。

前記インサート部材に接続された複数の力感知センサーと電子装置との通信のために構成されたポートとを備えたセンサーシステムとを備え、
前記インサート部材が、前記インサート部材の前記厚みを完全に通り抜けて延びる複数のスリットを持ち、前記スリットがセンサーシステムの前記力感知センサーのうち少なくとも一つの近くに配置された、インサート。 - 前記インサート部材が、前記インサート部材の周辺を画定する周辺端を持ち、また前記スリットの少なくとも一つが、前記周辺端から内方向に前記インサート部材内に延びる、請求項8に記載のインサート。
- 前記インサート部材が、前記インサート部材の周辺を画定する周辺端を持ち、また前記スリットの少なくとも一つが完全に前記インサート部材内部に配置され、前記周辺端と接触しない、請求項8に記載のインサート。
- 前記センサーの少なくとも一つが、内部の隙間を持ち、また前記スリットの一つが前記内部の隙間内に延びる、請求項8に記載のインサート。
- 前記スリットの2つ以上が、前記センサーのそれぞれの近くに位置する、請求項8に記載のインサート。
- 前記複数の力感知センサーがそれぞれ、力感知抵抗材料と接触した一対の電極を備え、前記センサーシステムが、前記力感知センサーから前記ポートに延びる複数のリード線をさらに備え、また前記インサート部材が、その上に位置する前記電極およびリード線を持つ第一の層と、その上に前記力感知抵抗材料を持つ第二の層とを備える、請求項8に記載のインサート。
- 足にはめ込むように適合された履物の物品と共に使用するインサートであって、前記履物の物品がソール構造および前記ソール構造に接続されたアッパー部分を持ち、
前記インサートが、
前記履物の物品の前記ソール構造と接触して配置されるよう適合されたインサート部材と、

前記力感知センサーの少なくとも一つが、
力感知抵抗材料のパッチと、
前記ポートに接続された第一のリード線を持つ第一の電極と、
前記ポートに接続された第二のリード線を持つ第二の電極とを備え、
前記力感知抵抗材料の前記パッチが、隙間により分離された第一のローブおよび第二のローブを備えた複数ローブ構造を持ち、前記第一の電極が前記第一のローブおよび前記第二のローブと接触し、また前記第二の電極が前記第一のローブおよび前記第二のローブと接触している、インサート。 - 力感知抵抗材料の前記パッチの前記複数ローブ構造が、第二の隙間により前記第一のローブから分離された第三のローブをさらに備え、前記第一の電極が前記第一、第二、および第三のローブと接触し、かつ前記第二の電極が前記第一、第二、および第三のローブと接触している、請求項14に記載のインサート。
- 力感知抵抗材料の前記パッチが、前記隙間を連絡し、前記第一のローブと前記第二のローブとを接続するブリッジ部材と、前記第二の隙間を連絡し、前記第一のローブと前記第三のローブとを接続する第二のブリッジ部材とをさらに備えた、請求項15に記載のインサート。
- 前記第二のローブおよび前記ブリッジ部材が前記第一のローブおよび前記第三のローブの一方の側に位置し、また前記第二のブリッジ部材が前記第一のローブの反対側に位置する、請求項16に記載のインサート。
- 力感知抵抗材料の前記パッチが、前記隙間を連絡し、前記第一のローブと前記第二のローブを接続するブリッジ部材をさらに備えた、請求項14に記載のインサート。
- 前記力感知抵抗材料が導電性の炭素系材料である、請求項14に記載のインサート。
- 前記第一および第二の電極がそれぞれ、前記第一のローブと接触した複数のフィンガーと、前記第二のローブと接触した複数のフィンガーとを持つ、請求項14に記載のインサート。
- 前記第一および第二の電極のどのフィンガーも、前記の細長い隙間内には位置しないように、前記第一および第二の電極がそれぞれ、前記第一と第二のローブ間の前記の細長い隙間上に重なった前記フィンガー間に細長い空間を持つ、請求項20に記載のインサート。
- 前記インサート部材が前記インサート部材の厚みを完全に通り抜けて延びるスリットを持ち、前記スリットが前記隙間内に延びる、請求項14に記載のインサート。
- 前記インサート部材が、その上に位置する前記第一と第二の電極、および前記第一と第二のリード線を持つ第一の層と、その上に力感知抵抗材料の前記パッチを持つ第二の層とを備えた、請求項14に記載のインサート。
- 足にはめ込むように適合された履物の物品と共に使用するインサートであって、前記履物の物品がソール構造および前記ソール構造に接続されたアッパー部分を持ち、
前記インサートが、
前記履物の物品の前記ソール構造と接触して配置されるよう適合されたインサート部材と、
層状の構成で前記インサート部材の表面に接続された材料シートを備え、前記材料シートがその上に前記複数の力感知センサーの描画を含むグラフィックデザインを持つグラフィック層を有し、
前記インサート部材に接続された複数の力感知センサーと電子装置との通信のために構成されたポートと、を備えたセンサーシステムと、を備えたインサート。 - 前記力感知センサーのそれぞれが力感知材料と連通する2つの電極を備え、また、前記インサート部材が、その上に位置する各力感知センサーの前記電極を持つ第一の層と、その上に位置する各力感知センサーの前記力感知材料を持つ第二の層とを備え、前記グラフィック層が、前記第一の層および前記第二の層のうち一つに接続されている、請求項24に記載のインサート。
- 足にはめ込むように適合された履物の物品と共に使用するインサートであって、前記履物の物品がソール構造および前記ソール構造に接続されたアッパー部分を持ち、
前記インサートが、
前記履物の物品の前記ソール構造と接触して配置されるよう適合されたインサート部材と、
前記インサート部材に接続された複数の力感知センサーと電子装置との通信のために構成されたポートとを備えたセンサーシステムとを備え、
前記力感知センサーの少なくとも一つが、
力感知抵抗材料のパッチと、
前記ポートに接続された第一のリード線を持つ第一の電極と、
前記ポートに接続された第二のリード線を持つ第二の電極とを備え、前記第一および第二の電極が周辺境界を形成し、
前記第一の電極が前記第二の電極に向かって延びる複数の第一のフィンガーを持ち、前記第二の電極が前記第一の電極に向かって延びる複数の第二のフィンガーを持ち、前記第一および第二のフィンガーが、力感知抵抗材料の前記パッチに接触して、前記第一のフィンガーおよび前記第二のフィンガーが互いにかみ合い、また前記第一のフィンガーが前記第二のフィンガーから平均間隔0.25mm〜1.5mmだけ隔てられ、
前記第一および第二の電極をあわせた表面積の、前記周辺境界内にある前記力感知抵抗材料の表面積に対する比が3:1〜1:3である、インサート。 - 第一のフィンガーおよび前記第二のフィンガーが交互の配置で互いにかみ合う、請求項26に記載のインサート。
- 前記の比が約1:1である、請求項26に記載のインサート。
- 前記平均間隔が約0.5である、請求項26に記載のインサート。
- 前記比が約1:1であり、かつ前記平均間隔が約0.5mmである、請求項26に記載のインサート。

前記履物の物品の前記ソール構造と接触して配置されるよう適合された柔軟性のあるポリマーインサート部材であって、前記インサート部材が、前記足の中足骨部分がはまるように適合された中央部分と、前記中央部分の先端から延び、前記足の第一の趾骨がはまるように適合された第一の趾骨部分と、前記中央部分の後端から延び、前記足のかかとがはまるように適合されたかかと部分とを備え、前記第一の趾骨部分および前記かかと部分が、前記中央部分に対して前記の内側外側方向に細くなっているインサート部材と、
前記インサート部材に接続された第一、第二、第三、および第四の力感知センサーと、電子装置との通信のために構成されたポートと、を備えたセンサーシステムであって、前記第一、第二、第三、および第四の力感知センサーそれぞれが、
力感知抵抗材料のパッチと、
前記ポートに接続された第一のリード線を持つ第一の電極と、
前記ポートに接続された第二のリード線を持つ第二の電極と、を備え、
力感知抵抗材料の前記パッチが、隙間により分離された第一のローブおよび第二のローブと、前記隙間を連絡し、前記第一のローブと前記第二のローブを接続するブリッジ部材とを備えた複数ローブ構造を持ち、前記第一の電極が、前記第一のローブおよび前記第二のローブと接触し、また前記第二の電極が、前記第一のローブおよび前記第二のローブと接触し、
前記第一の力感知センサーが前記インサート部材の前記第一の趾骨部分上に位置し、前記第二および第三の力感知センサーが前記インサート部材の前記中央部分に位置し、前記第四の力感知センサーが前記インサート部材の前記かかと部分上に位置し、
前記インサート部材が、前記インサート部材の前記厚みを完全に通り抜けて延びる複数のスリットを持ち、前記スリットが前記センサーシステムの第一、第二、第三、および第四の力感知センサーのうち少なくとも一つと近接して配置された、インサート。
