Claims (27)
- 強化材を備え、しかも、裁断された少なくとも1つの構成部分をもつ、三次元のプリフォームであって、
前記強化材は、
幅、長さ、ならびに、厚さによって分かれる第1の面表面および第2の面表面をもつ操り織りファブリック(steered fabric)から構成され、その操り織りファブリックの前記第1の面表面を前記プリフォームの前記裁断された構成部分に添付する、三次元のプリフォーム。 - 前記操り織りファブリックは、織ったものである、請求項1のプリフォーム。
- 前記操り織りファブリックは、プログラム可能なテークアップ機構を用いて織ったものである、請求項1のプリフォーム。
- 前記プリフォームはパイ型のプリフォームであり、前記第1の面表面および第2の面表面は、互いに平行であり、それらの第1の面表面および第2の面表面の少なくとも1つが、前記裁断された構成部分にある、請求項1のプリフォーム。
- 前記第1の面表面および第2の面表面は、平らである、請求項4のプリフォーム。
- 前記操り織りファブリックの長さは、前記プリフォームの裁断された構成部分のたて糸方向に整列している、請求項1のプリフォーム。

- 三次元のプリフォームを強化する方法であって、次の各工程を備える方法。
・前記三次元のプリフォームの少なくとも1つの構成部分を裁断する工程
・前記裁断したプリフォームに適合する操り織りファブリック強化材(steered fabric reinforcement)を形成する工程
・前記操り織りファブリック強化材を、前記裁断したプリフォーム上、少なくとも裁断した領域に添える工程 - 前記操り織りファブリック強化材は、プログラム可能なテークアップ機構を用いて織る、請求項11の方法。
- 前記裁断したプリフォームおよび前記操り織りファブリック強化材を、マトリックス材料で同時に含浸させる工程をさらに備える、請求項11の方法。
- 前記マトリックス材料は、エポキシ、ビスマレイミド、ポリエステル、ビニル−エステル、セラミック、および炭素の中から選択する、請求項13の方法。
- 前記マトリックス材料を硬化する工程をさらに備える、請求項13の方法。
- 前記操り織りファブリック強化材は、ガラス、炭素、セラミック、アラミド、およびポリエチレンの中から選択する材料からなる繊維あるいは糸から織る、請求項11の方法。
- 次の各構成を備える、三次元のコンポジット構造物。
・少なくとも1つの裁断された構成部分をもつ、三次元のプリフォーム
・幅、長さ、ならびに、厚さによって分かれる第1の面表面および第2の面表面をもつ操り織りファブリック(steered fabric)であって、その操り織りファブリックの前記第1の面表面を前記プリフォームの裁断された構成部分に添付するもの
・前記プリフォームおよび前記操り織りファブリックの強化材を、少なくとも部分的に含浸するマトリックス材料 - 前記操り織りファブリックは、プログラム可能なテークアップ機構を用いて織る、請求項17のコンポジット構造物。
- 前記マトリックス材料は、エポキシ、ビスマレイミド、ポリエステル、ビニル−エステル、セラミック、および炭素の中から選択する、請求項17のコンポジット構造物。
- 前記操り織りファブリックは、長さに沿って折る、請求項1のプリフォーム。
- 前記第2の面表面の第1部分と前記第2の面表面の第2部分とが、0°〜180°の傾斜角を形作る、請求項20のプリフォーム。
- 前記第2の面表面の第1部分は、前記第2の面表面の第2部分に平行である、請求項20のプリフォーム。
- 前記操り織りファブリックを前記裁断した構成部分を含むプリフォームに添えるに先立ち、前記操り織りファブリックを長さに沿って折る工程をさらに備える、請求項11の方法。
- 前記操り織りファブリックを長さに沿って折るに際し、前記第2の面表面の第1部分と前記第2の面表面の第2部分とが、0°〜180°の傾斜角を形作る、請求項17の三次元の構造物。
- 前記プリフォームに曲がりがあるとき、前記操り織りファブリックは、そのプリフォームの曲がりのある領域の内側端に短い繊維、そして、そのプリフォームの曲がりの外側端に向かって次第に長い繊維がある、請求項1のプリフォーム。
- 前記プリフォームはパイ型のプリフォームであり、前記操り織りファブリックは、U形に折られ、しかも、前記パイ型のプリフォームのクレビス内に配置される、請求項1のプリフォーム。
