Description
前記紙製造系の水系におけるカルシウムイオン濃度の増加を抑制する処理を行う工程を有する方法。
脱墨パルプを表1に示す仕込み水で希釈し、殺菌剤としての無機スライムコントロール剤「ファジサイド」(栗田工業社製)を5mg/Lの濃度で添加し又は添加せず、4℃又は35℃の条件下、1日間に亘り保管した。得た試料のpHをガラス電極により測定し、カルシウムイオン濃度をフタレインコンプレキソン比色法により測定した。
脱墨パルプを、カルシウムイオン濃度0、100、200又は500mg/Lに調製した水道水で希釈した点を除き、参考例1と同様の手順でピッチ付着率を測定した。その結果を図2に示す。また、スキャナで取り込んだSUS製の板表面の画像を図3に示す。
稼動している紙製造系の水系における複数の箇所について、カルシウムイオン濃度を測定するとともに、ピッチの付着による問題(ピッチ課題)の有無を調査した。調査した箇所をピッチ課題が顕在化した箇所及びしなかった箇所に分類し、その各々におけるカルシウムイオン濃度の分布を図4に示す。
Claims (4)
- 紙原料から抄紙を行う紙製造系におけるピッチを抑制する方法であって、
前記紙製造系の水系におけるカルシウムイオン濃度の増加を抑制するために、腐敗を抑制して有機酸の生成を抑制する処理を行う工程を有し、
前記水系における腐敗の抑制は、前記水系に殺菌剤を添加すること、水系を冷却すること、及び/又はpHを調整することを含む、方法。 - 前記処理は、前記水系におけるカルシウムイオン濃度を200mg/L未満にするものである請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記処理が前記水系におけるカルシウムイオン濃度を50〜1000mg/Lにする場合を除く請求項2記載の方法。
- 紙原料から抄紙を行う紙製造系の水系におけるカルシウムイオン濃度の増加を抑制するために、腐敗を抑制して有機酸の生成を抑制する成分を有効成分として含有し、
前記水系における腐敗の抑制は、前記水系に殺菌剤を添加すること、水系を冷却すること、及び/又はpHを調整することを含む、ピッチ抑制剤。
