Claims (9)
- 複数のブレードを有するインペラと、
前記インペラを回転させる回転軸を有するモータと、
吸入口と吐出口とを有して、少なくとも前記インペラを内蔵し、前記インペラの回転により前記吸入口から吸入した気体を前記吐出口から吐き出す風洞を有するハウジングとを具備し、
前記ハウジングの前記吸入口が設けられる面の輪郭の形状が実質的に矩形形状を有し、
前記風洞の内壁面には、前記吸入口側の前記輪郭の四隅に対応する4箇所の位置に対応して、前記吐出口側から前記吸入口に向かうに従って前記回転軸の径方向外側に傾斜し且つ前記インペラの回転方向に延びる4つのテーパ部が形成されている送風機であって、
前記テーパ部は、前記回転方向とは逆の方向に位置する一端から前記回転方向に位置する他端に向かうに従って前記回転軸の軸線Aとの間の角度が徐々に小さくなる形状を有する主要部分を有していることを特徴とする送風機。 - 前記風洞を前記軸線が垂線となる仮想平面により2分割して、前記吸入口側に位置する第1の風洞部分と前記吐出口側に位置する第2の風洞部分とに分けたと仮定したときに、前記テーパ部は前記第1の風洞部分の内壁面に形成されている請求項1に記載の送風機。
- 前記テーパ部の前記主要部分は、前記吐出口側に位置して前記回転方向に延びる第1の辺と前記吸入口側に位置する第2の辺と、前記第1の辺と前記第2の辺とをつなぐ第3の辺とを有しており、前記第2の辺が前記回転方向に向かうに従って前記第1の辺に近づくように前記テーパ部の前記主要部分の形状が定められていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の送風機。
- 前記テーパ部の前記第2の辺の前記一端側の端部は、前記ハウジングの前記吸入口側の前記面と連続しており、
前記第1の辺と前記第2の辺とが前記他端において収束していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の送風機。 - 前記第1の風洞部分の前記内壁面には、前記第2の辺に沿い且つ前記軸線と平行に延びる平行面が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の送風機。
- 前記4つのテーパ部は、前記回転方向の長さ寸法が等しいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の送風機。
- 前記テーパ部の前記主要部分の前記軸線に対する最大角度が5〜45°であり、前記テーパ部の前記主要部分の前記軸線に対する最小角度が0°であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の送風機。
- 前記テーパ部の前記主要部分は、前記第1の辺と前記第2の辺との間に位置しており、
前記テーパ部は、前記第1の辺の前記第3の辺との間に残余部分(65B)を備えており、
前記残余部分の前記回転方向の長さ寸法は、前記主要部分の長さ寸法のほぼ1/4以下の長さ寸法である請求項3に記載の送風機。 - 前記ハウジングの前記吐出口が設けられる面の輪郭の形状が実質的に矩形形状を有し、
前記第2の風洞部分の内壁面には、前記吐出口側の前記輪郭の四隅に対応する4箇所の位置に対応して、前記吸入口側から前記吐出口に向かうに従って前記回転軸の径方向外側に傾斜し且つ前記インペラの回転方向に延びる4つのテーパ部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2乃至8のいずれか一つに記載の送風機。
