Description
まず、接続部17に充電器100が接続されたことを検知すると、一時的に記憶保持する後述のフラグをリセット(Fstp=0)するなどの初期化処理を行った後に(ステップS100)、電池温度センサ16bが検出する電池パック12表面の電池温度TBATと、予め設定されている冷却が必要と判断する冷却要温度閾値THとを比較する(ステップS11)。電池温度TBATが冷却要温度閾値THよりも低く冷却するまでもないと判断した場合には、続けて、その電池温度TBATと、予め設定されている加温が必要と判断する加温要温度閾値TCとを比較する(ステップS12)。電池温度TBATが加温要温度閾値TC以上で(低くなく)加温するまでもないと判断した場合には、空調装置13による電池パック12の温調は不要として、電池パック12の収容空間S内に送風することなく電池パック12に急速充電する送風なしモードを実行開始する(ステップS200)。
また、ステップS11において、電池温度TBATが冷却要温度閾値TH以上で空調装置13による電池パック12の冷却が必要と判断した場合には、図7に示すように、ダクト21の流路を切り換えて、上記各種制御器から制御信号を送出して収容空間S内に冷風を導入(送風)させつつ電池パック12を急速充電する冷房モードを実行する(ステップS300)。
また、ステップS11、S12において、電池温度TBATが加温要温度閾値TC(<冷却要温度閾値TH)よりも低く加温する必要があると判断した場合には、先の処理で空調停止(暖房停止)が指示されている(フラグFstp=1)か否か確認して(ステップS13)、先の暖房モードの実行処理時の空調停止指示によるフラグFstp=1が確認された場合には、既に電池パック12が温度調整することなく効率よく急速充電可能な状態に加温済みであることから、そのままステップS200に進んで送風なしモードを実行して、以下同様の処理を繰り返す。ここで、本実施形態では、後述するように、電池温度TBATが加温要温度閾値TCよりも低い場合に空調装置13の温風で電池パック12を加温しつつ急速充電を開始して十分な電力容量による急速充電を確保した後には、その電池パック12の温度は上昇傾向になることから空調停止(フラグFstp=1)にする。しかしながら、極寒冷地などのように再度電池パック12の加温が必要になることが想定される場合には、一定時間経過後にも電池温度TBATが加温要温度閾値TCを下回って再度加温することが必要と判断される場合に、再度、暖房モードや除湿暖房モードの要否を判断して実行するようにしてもよい。
まず、暖房モードでは、図10のフローチャートに示すように、まずは、送風ダンパの切換を行う(ステップS410)。この送風ダンパの切換では、冷房モードと同様に、外内ダクト22の外内ダンパ22cにより外気連通部22aから外気を取り込む流路を形成するとともに、内々ダクト23の内々ダンパ23cにより電池連通部23bから空調装置13による空調風を電池パック12の収容空間S内に吹き込む流路を形成する。また、加熱部32はヒータコア32aを迂回する流路(ヒータコア32aの上流側)を閉止するように切換ダンパ32bを位置させて(加温する流路のみを開放して)電池パック12の収容空間S内に吹き込む空調風を加熱する流路を形成する。
また、除湿暖房モードでは、図12のフローチャートに示すように、まずは、暖房モードと同様に送風ダンパの切換を行う(ステップS510)。この送風ダンパの切換では、暖房モードと同様に、外内ダクト22の外気連通部22aから外気を取り込む流路を形成するとともに、内々ダクト23の電池連通部23bから空調装置13による空調風を電池パック12の収容空間S内に吹き込む流路を形成する。また、加熱部32はヒータコア32aの迂回流路を切換ダンパ32bにより閉止して電池パック12の収容空間S内に吹き込む空調風を加熱する流路を形成する。

Claims (4)
- 車両に搭載されて繰り返し充電可能な電池の温度を検出する電池温度検出部と、前記電池に向けて温風を吹き出す温風吹出部と、前記電池温度検出部が検出する電池温度に応じて前記温風吹出部に温風を吹き出させて前記電池周りに流入させることにより該電池を加温する温調制御部と、を備える電池温調システムであって、
前記温風の流入により前記電池に結露が発生するか否かを判定する結露判定部と、前記温風吹出部が吹き出す温風を除湿する除湿部と、を有して、
前記温調制御部は、車両に搭載されて繰り返し充電可能な電池に車両外部の充電器から電力供給させて当該電池の充電を行うとき、かつ、前記結露判定部が前記電池に結露発生と判定するときに、前記除湿部に前記温風吹出部が吹き出す温風を除湿させることを特徴とする電池温調システム。 - 前記温風吹出部は、前記車両が備える空調装置の車室内に吹き出す温風の流路を前記電池に向けて吹き出させるように切り換える流路切換部を備えることにより構成され、
前記除湿部は、前記空調装置が備える除湿機能により構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池温調システム。 - 車両に搭載されて繰り返し充電可能な電池に車両外部の充電器から電力供給させて当該電池の充電を行う電池充電システムであって、
上記請求項2に記載の電池温調システムと、前記電池に充電する際に前記除湿部に前記温風吹出部が吹き出す温風を除湿させるときには前記空調装置が備える電動コンプレッサの駆動電力を前記充電器から供給させる制御を実行する電力制御部と、を備えることを特徴とする電池充電システム。 - 前記電力制御部は、前記充電器の供給可能な電力から前記電池の充電可能な電力と前記電動コンプレッサ駆動電力とを減算して温風供給に可能な電力を算出し電力供給させることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電池充電システム。
