Description

Claims (10)
- 製錬廃棄物の微粉を凝集し焼結する方法であって、
(a)上記製錬廃棄物の微粉を、水溶性ポリエーテル及び油の水性エマルジョンからなる群から選択される焼結凝集剤及び燃焼燃料源と混合して、凝集粒子を含む凝集した焼結性混合物を形成する工程であって、前記水性エマルジョンの油がアスファルト、エクステンダー油、重質プロセス油及び軽質プロセス油からなる群から選択される油である工程と、
(b)上記焼結性混合物を焼結装置のグレート上で焼結床へと形成させる工程と、
(c)焼結床を点火して凝集粒子を焼結するのに十分な温度を生じさせる工程と
を含んでなる、凝集及び焼結方法。
- 前記凝集粒子の粒度が6mm〜25mmである、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記製錬廃棄物が、ミルスケール、プレシピテータダスト、鋼滓微粉、フィルタケーキ、鉄鉱石及びフェロアロイ鉱石からなる群から選択される製鋼鉄廃棄物である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記製錬廃棄物が、ミルスケール、プレシピテータダスト、スラグ微粉、フィルタケーキ及び亜鉛鉱石からなる群から選択される亜鉛製錬廃棄物である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記燃焼燃料源がコークス及び石炭からなる群から選択される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記焼結温度が1100℃〜1500℃である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記水溶性ポリエーテルが、
(a)次式のポリエチレンオキシド及びポリエチレンオキシド誘導体
R−(CH2CH2O)n−R1
(式中、Rは−OH又はC1−C6アルコキシであり、R1は−H又はC1−C6アルキルであり、nは5〜100000である)、
(b)次式のポリプロピレンオキシド及びその誘導体

(式中、Rは−OH又はC1−C6アルコキシであり、R1は−H又はC1−C6アルキルであり、mは5〜100000である)、及び
(c)次式のポリエチレンオキシド−ポリプロピレンオキシド共重合体及びその誘導体

(式中、Rは−OH又はC1−C6アルコキシであり、R1は−H又はC1−C6であり、p及びqは5〜100000の整数である)
からなる群から選択される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記ポリエーテルが分子量100000〜5000000のポリエチレンオキシドである、請求項7記載の方法。
- 前記ポリエーテルが式R−(CH2CH2O)n−R1(式中、Rは−OH又は−OCH3であり、R1は−H又は−CH3であり、nは5〜100000である)のポリエチレンオキシドである、請求項7記載の方法。
- 前記焼結凝集剤を前記焼結性混合物の乾燥重量に基づく乾燥基準で0.0001%〜5%のレベルで使用する、請求項1記載の方法。
