Claims (12)
- 第1電極板、第2電極板、及び前記第1電極板と前記第2電極板との間に介在されるセパレータを具備する電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体を収容するケースと、
前記電極組立体の前記第1電極板または前記第2電極板と電気的に連結され、前記ケース内で短絡を誘導する少なくとも1つの短絡誘導部材と、を具備し、
前記少なくとも1つの短絡誘導部材は、前記第1電極板と電気的に連結される第1短絡誘導部材と、前記第2電極板と電気的に連結される第2短絡誘導部材と、を含み、
前記ケースに外部から圧力が加わった際に、前記第1短絡誘導部材が、前記第2短絡誘導部材と接触して短絡を誘導する二次電池。 - 前記第1短絡誘導部材が前記第2短絡誘導部材から空間的に離れていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体と、前記少なくとも1つの短絡誘導部材との間で、前記電極組立体を前記少なくとも1つの短絡誘導部材に電気的に連結するリード部材をさらに具備することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記リード部材が、前記少なくとも1つの短絡誘導部材と一体に形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記少なくとも1つの短絡誘導部材が、
前記リード部材に固定される延長部と、
前記延長部から延び、前記少なくとも1つの短絡誘導部材のうち他の一つと接触するとき、短絡を誘導する接触部と、を具備することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池。 - 前記接触部が、前記延長部と実質的に垂直であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の二次電池。
- 前記少なくとも1つの短絡誘導部材と前記リード部材とが、実質的に同じ材質からなることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1電極板、前記少なくとも1つの短絡誘導部材及び前記リード部材が、実質的に同じ材質からなることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記少なくとも1つの短絡誘導部材が、銅、アルミニウム及び鉄のうち少なくとも一つを含んで形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ケースに連結され、前記第1電極板または前記第2電極板が電気的に連結されるキャップ・プレートをさらに具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第2電極板が前記ケースに電気的に連結されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記少なくとも1つの短絡誘導部材が、前記ケースと離れていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の二次電池。
