A1-xLxAlaSibOcNd (1)
(式中、AはCaを示し、LはEuを示し、xは0.005<x<0.20、aは1.0≦a≦4.0、bは0.5≦b≦2、cは1.5≦c≦2.0、dは2.6≦d≦3.0を満たす数値を示す。)で表され、300nm〜500nmの波長光である励起光により励起され450nm〜600nmの波長の蛍光を発光する蛍光体の製造方法であって、組成式(1)を構成する元素を含む化合物を、陽圧下で焼成することを特徴とする蛍光体の製造方法に関する。
A1-xLxAlaSibOcNd (1)
で表される蛍光体の製造方法である。式(1)中、AはCaを示し、LはEuを示し、xは0.005<x<0.20、aは1.0≦a≦4.0、bは0.5≦b≦2、cは1.5≦c≦2.0、dは2.6≦d≦3.0を満たす数値を示す。
得られた蛍光体のPLE測定は、大気中室温雰囲気下で、励起光波長を変化させ、蛍光体からの発光ピーク波長をモニターして測定を行った。励起光波長に対するPLE強度(励起スペクトル)を図4中、破線で示す。蛍光体を励起可能な波長範囲は330nm近傍にピークを有し300〜500nmに及んだ。
得られた蛍光体のPL測定は、励起光として450nmを用いて、大気中室温雰囲気下で行った。得られた蛍光体のPL強度(発光スペクトル)を図4中、実線で示す。発光は520nm近傍にピークを有し、450〜600nmに及んだ。発光スペクトルの半値幅を図4から求めた。結果を発光ピーク強度と共に、表1に示す。
原料として、Ca3N25.18g、AlN8.77g、Al2O37.27g、Si3N45.00g、Eu2O30.38gを用いた他は、実施例1と同様にして、目的の(Ca0.97,Eu0.03)3Al6Si3O6N8の蛍光体を得た。得られた蛍光体について、実施例1と同様にして、PLE測定、PL測定を行った。図5に、励起光波長に対するPLE強度(励起スペクトル)を破線、PL強度(発光スペクトル)を実線で示し、発光スペクトルの半値幅を表1に示す。
比較例として、SrGa2S4:Euを用い、実施例1と同様にして、PLE測定、PL測定を行った。図6に、励起光波長に対するPLE強度(励起スペクトル)を破線、PL強度(発光スペクトル)を実線で示し、発光スペクトルの半値幅を表1に示す。

- 組成式(1)
A1-xLxAlaSibOcNd (1)
(式中、AはCaを示し、LはEuを示し、xは0.005<x<0.20、aは1.0≦a≦4.0、bは0.5≦b≦2、cは1.5≦c≦2.0、dは2.6≦d≦3.0を満たす数値を示す。)で表され、300nm〜500nmの波長光である励起光により励起され450nm〜600nmの波長の蛍光を発光する蛍光体の製造方法であって、組成式(1)を構成する元素を含む化合物を、陽圧下で焼成することを特徴とする蛍光体の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の蛍光体の製造方法により得られた蛍光体を用いたことを特徴とする発光装置。
