図1は本発明の第1の実施形態を示すブロック図であり、1は下水汚泥焼却炉、2は空気予熱器、3は第1加熱器、4は冷却塔、5はバグフィルタ、6は排煙処理塔(スクラバ)、7は第2加熱器、8は還元剤供給装置、9はN2O分解触媒、10は煙突である。
を担持させたものを用いた。具体的には、市販のアンモニウム・ゼオライトとFeSO4とを室温においてボールミルで撹拌混合し、得られた粉末をマッフル炉中で400〜600℃で仮焼し、さらにバインダを加えて直径2mm長さ5mmの円柱状に押し出し成形した鉄担持ゼオライトを使用した。なおバインダの種類は特に限定されるものではないが、例えばカオリンのような珪酸アルミニウム類を用いることができる。
使用したN2O分解触媒は、前記した実施形態において用いたものと同じ、直径2mm、長さ5mmの円柱状に押し出し成形した鉄担持ゼオライトであり、これをカラム内部に充填し、排ガスを模擬したガスをSV=1100h−1で流してN2O分解率を測定した。
動にかかわらず、常にN2O分解率を95%以上のレベルに維持することが可能となる。

Claims (5)
- N2Oを含有する排ガスを排煙処理塔に通したうえでN2O分解触媒の存在下で還元剤と接触させ、N2Oを還元除去する排ガス中のN2O除去方法であって、前記排煙処理塔出口の排ガス温度に対応する飽和蒸気圧からN 2 O分解触媒の前段における排ガス中の水蒸気濃度を演算し、その値に応じて、N2O分解触媒と接触する排ガス温度または還元剤の添加量を制御することを特徴とする排ガス中のN2O除去方法。
- N 2 O分解触媒として、鉄−ゼオライト系触媒を使用することを特徴とする請求項1記載の排ガス中のN 2 O除去方法。
- N 2 O分解触媒として、アルミナまたはゼオライト担体に貴金属を担持させた触媒を使用することを特徴とする請求項1記載の排ガス中のN 2 O除去方法。
- 還元剤として、メタン、プロパン、アンモニアの何れかを使用することを特徴とする請求項1記載の排ガス中のN 2 O除去方法。
- 排ガスが下水汚泥焼却炉の排ガスであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の排ガス中のN 2 O除去方法。
