Claims (12)
- 心室からおよび関連した血管を通して血液を圧送するための血管内システムであって、
血管内に挿入されるように構成されたポンプ装置と、
前記ポンプ装置に連結された近位端、前記心室から出る血液を収集するように構成された遠位端、および前記遠位端から前記近位端へと延在し前記心室から集められた血液を送る第1の内腔を備え、軸に沿って延在するカテーテルと、
を備え、
前記カテーテルが、前記遠位端に近接する螺旋部を備え、前記螺旋部が、前記血管壁に合う形状に予備成形されて、少なくとも安定性を補助するとともに前記血管内に前記ポンプ装置を位置決めし、前記螺旋部が、前記軸を横切る平面にほぼ平行に前記軸の周りに延在し、かつ前記軸を向いている内側部、および前記軸と反対側を向いている外側部を含み、
前記外側部が、連続的な一体壁をさらに備え、かつ前記内側部が、少なくとも1つの入口開口部を前記螺旋部の第1の内腔内にさらに備え、前記少なくとも1つの入口開口部が前記軸に面するように位置決めされて、前記血管壁の吸い込みを最小化することを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記カテーテルがさらに第2の内腔を含み、
前記システムが前記第2の内腔内に挿入されたワイヤをさらに備え、前記ワイヤが前記カテーテルの螺旋部の形状を規定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記カテーテルは1つ又は2つ以上の放射線不透過性マークをさらに含み、血管システム内での前記カテーテルと前記ポンプ装置との位置決めを容易にしていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記カテーテルは、前記遠位端内のガイドワイヤ入口ポートと、前記近位端内のガイドワイヤ出口ポートと、をさらに備え、前記ガイドワイヤ入口ポートおよび前記ガイドワイヤ出口ポートが、前記第1の内腔と連通していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ポンプ装置は、
前記カテーテルに連結された第1端部と、該第1端部から前記軸に沿って延在した管状ボディと、具備し、前記管状ボディが外側面と該外側面を通って延在した少なくとも1つの側部流出口を備えた前記ポンプハウジングと、
前記ポンプハウジングの管状ボディ内に配置されたポンプと、
前記ポンプハウジングに連結されたモータハウジングと、
前記モータハウジング内に配置され、血液が前記ポンプハウジングを通して前記カテーテルから引き込まれ、かつ少なくとも1つの前記側部流出口から出て行くようにポンプを作動するように構成されたモータと、
を具備していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記ポンプ装置は、
前記カテーテルに連結された第1端部と、該第1端部から前記軸に沿って延在した管状ボディと、を有するポンプハウジングと、
前記ポンプハウジングの前記管状ボディ内に配置されたポンプと、
前記ポンプハウジングに連結されたモータハウジングであって、前記モータハウジングが第1直径を有しかつ前記管状ボディが第2直径を有し、前記ポンプハウジングが前記管状ボディと前記モータハウジングとの間で前記軸に沿って延在する出口を規定するように、前記第1直径が前記第2直径よりも小さい前記モータハウジングと、
前記モータハウジング内に配置されたモータであって、血液が前記ポンプハウジングを通して前記カテーテルから引き込まれかつ前記出口から出て行くように、前記モータが前記ポンプを作動するように構成されている前記モータと、
を具備していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記軸に沿って前記モータに連結されている電力ケーブルをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記モータハウジングが前記軸に沿って延在するドーム形状の部分を有し、前記ドーム形状の部分が血液の澱んだ領域を防ぐように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記ポンプ装置が、
ポンプハウジングと、
前記ポンプハウジングに連結されたモータハウジングと、
を備え、前記ポンプハウジングが、前記カテーテルに連結されたポンプ入口ハウジングと前記モータハウジングに連結されたポンプ出口ハウジングとにより規定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記ポンプ出口ハウジングは、前記モータハウジングを前記ポンプ出口ハウジングに連結する少なくとも2つのベーンをさらに含んでいることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記軸に沿って前記モータハウジングに連結されている電源ケーブルをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記モータハウジングは前記軸に沿って延在するテーパ部を備え、前記テーパ部が血液の澱んだ領域を防ぐように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のシステム。
