Claims (13)
- 変更可能な色を有して出る光を生成する光源であって、一次放射を発する少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードを備える光源において、
− 前記発光ダイオードに接続されている層であって、前記一次放射を二次放射に変換する少なくとも1つの発光材料を含んでいる層と、
− 前記一次放射及び/又は前記二次放射を含む光を供給するためにパルス成形された電流によって前記ダイオードを駆動させるスイッチング装置であって、前記光の輝度と色との各々を独立に変化させるように、パルス毎のエネルギ密度によって前記発光材料の飽和度を調整すると共に、パルスの数によって全体の光出力を制御する、スイッチング装置と、
を有する光源。 - 前記パルス成形された電流はパルス幅変調されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の光源。
- 前記一次放射は可視光又は不可視光であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の光源。
- 前記発光材料は蛍光体であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載の光源。
- 前記層は、

- 前記層は蛍光体粒子を含んでおり、前記層は少なくとも1つの粒状層を有していることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載の光源。
- 前記層は、1≦x≦10であるx個の粒状層を有することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の光源。
- 一次放射を発する少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードを備えると共に、前記発光ダイオードに接続されている層であって前記一次放射を二次放射に変換する少なくとも1つの発光材料を含んでいる層を有する光源を使用するステップと、
パルス幅(パルス期間)及びパルス間の距離(スイッチングオフ期間)を含むパルス成形された電流によって前記ダイオードを駆動するスイッチング装置を使用するステップであって、前記発光材料の飽和度がパルス毎のエネルギ密度によって調整されると共に、全体の光出力がパルスの数によって制御される、ステップと、
を有する光を生成する方法であって、
減衰期間を有する前記発光材料は、前記光源を出る前記一次放射及び/又は前記二次放射を含む光の輝度及び色を互いから独立に変化させるように、前記一次放射によって励起され、前記パルス幅は前記減衰期間に等しい、方法。 - 前記パルス間の距離は、前記発光材料の前記減衰期間よりも大きく、特に、前記パルス間の距離は前記減衰期間の少なくとも2倍大きいことを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記光源を出る光の輝度は、前記パルス間の距離を変化させることによって変化可能であり、これにより前記光の色は、ほぼ一定であることを特徴とする、請求項9又は10に記載の方法。
- 前記光の色は、前記パルス成形された電流の強度を変化させることによって変化可能であることを特徴とする、請求項9乃至11の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1乃至8の何れか一項に記載の光源を使用している請求項9乃至12の何れか一項に記載の方法。
