Description
で示されるアミン化合物と、トリエチレンジアミンとを含むポリウレタン樹脂製造用の触媒組成物であって、上記一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物と、トリエチレンジアミンとの混合比率が、[上記一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物]/[トリエチレンジアミン]=50/99〜50/1(重量比)であることを特徴とするポリウレタン樹脂製造用の触媒組成物。
2Lのセパラブルフラスコにピペラジン43.1g(0.5mol)、トリエチルアミン151.8g(1.5mol)を仕込み、トルエンで希釈した。窒素置換後、これにトルエンで希釈した2,3−ジブロモプロピオン酸エチル(東京化成工業社製)を攪拌しながら添加し、100℃で24時間熟成反応を行った。析出したトリエチルアミンの塩酸塩をろ過により除去し、得られた反応液を濃縮し、エステル体を合成した。このエステル体をテトロヒドロフランに溶解させ、氷浴下、水素化アルミニウムリチウムのテトロヒドロフラン溶液に攪拌しながら添加した。室温で2時間反応後、水、15%水酸化ナトリウム水溶液を加えて反応を停止し、不溶物をろ過により除去した。反応液を濃縮後、酢酸エチルで抽出洗浄した。酢酸エチルを除去し、目的化合物である2−ヒドロキシメチルトリエチレンジアミンを48g得た(収率68%)。
ポリオール、セルオープナー、架橋剤、整泡剤、水を表1に示した原料配合比にてプレミックスAを調合した。プレミックスA148.1gを500mlポリエチレンカップに取り、触媒として、2−ヒドロキシメチルトリエチレンジアミン(合成例1で合成した調製品)及びトリエチレンジアミン(東ソー社製、製品名:TEDA−L33)を表2に示した配合比にて添加し、20℃に温度調整した。別容器で20℃に温度調整したイソシアネート液を、イソシアネートインデックス[=イソシアネート基/OH基(モル比)×100]が100となる量を、プレミックスAのカップの中に入れ、素早く攪拌機にて6000rpmで5秒間攪拌した。混合攪拌した混合液を60℃に温度調節した2リットルのポリエチレンカップに移し、発泡中の反応性を測定した。また、得られた成型フォームから、フォーム密度を測定し比較した。結果を表2に示す。なお、各測定項目の測定方法は以下のとおりである。
クリームタイム:発泡開始時間、フォームが上昇開始する時間を目視にて測定した。
ゲルタイム:反応が進行し液状物質より、樹脂状物質に変わる時間を測定した。
ライズタイム:フォームの上昇が停止する時間を目視にて測定した。
モールド成型フォームの中心部を7×7×5cmの寸法にカットし、寸法、重量を正確に測定してコア密度を算出した。
フォームコア密度を測定したフォームから5×5×5cm寸法のフォームをカットしマヨネーズ瓶の中に入れ蓋をした。この瓶を80℃で1時間加熱後、瓶を室温まで冷却し、10人のモニターにそのフォームの臭いを嗅がせ、臭いの強さを測定した。

フォームコア密度を測定したフォームから1×1×10cm寸法の所定のフォームをカットして試験片とし、JIS K7311−1995に準じて引張試験を実施して、その引張強さを測定した。

2−ヒドロキシメチルトリエチレンジアミン(合成例1で合成した調製品)、トリエチレンジアミン33.3%ジプロピレングリコール溶液(東ソー社製、製品名:TEDA−L33)、及びビス(ジメチルアミノエチル)エーテル70%ジプロピレングリコール溶液(東ソー社製、製品名:TOYOCAT−ET)を使用した以外は、実施例1と同じ手法を用いた。結果をあわせて表2に示す。
表2に示した原料配合比にて発泡した以外は、実施例1と同じ手法を用いた。結果を併せて表2に示す。

- 一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物が、2−ヒドロキシメチルトリエチレンジアミンであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 鉛、錫、水銀及びそれらの化合物を含まないことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の触媒組成物。
- ポリオールとポリイソシアネートとを、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の触媒組成物の存在下で反応させることを特徴とするポリウレタン樹脂の製造方法。
- 請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の触媒組成物の使用量が、ポリオール100重量部に対して0.01〜30重量部の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のポリウレタン樹脂の製造方法。
