Description
Claims (17)
- 磁気共鳴スキャナ;
前記磁気共鳴スキャナと同一の無線周波数隔離空間内に配置された第2モダリティ撮像システムであり、当該第2モダリティ撮像システムは、高エネルギー粒子及び高エネルギー光子のうちの少なくとも一方を検出するように構成された放射線検出器と、第2モダリティ電子装置とを含み、該第2モダリティ電子装置は、前記磁気共鳴スキャナの1つ以上の磁気共鳴周波数において該第2モダリティ電子装置によって生成される無線周波数干渉を実質的に低減するように構成され、前記磁気共鳴スキャナ及び当該第2モダリティ撮像システムは、或る隙間だけ空間的に隔てられた物理的に分離したユニットである、第2モダリティ撮像システム;
前記磁気共鳴スキャナと前記第2モダリティ撮像システムとの間の前記隙間に配置された患者ベッドであり、前記磁気共鳴スキャナ又は前記第2モダリティ撮像システムの何れか内に、当該患者ベッド上に配置された患者をロードするように構成された患者ベッド;及び
前記第2モダリティ撮像システムの前記放射線検出器の位置での前記磁気共鳴スキャナからの磁場を低減するように構成された磁気シールド;
を有する複合型撮像システム。 - 前記第2モダリティ撮像システムは陽電子放出断層撮影(PET)スキャナであり、前記磁気シールドは:
前記第2モダリティ撮像システムの前記放射線検出器を実質的に取り囲む、1つ以上の、強磁性体の囲いであり、各囲いが少なくとも、前記放射線検出器によって検出される前記高エネルギー粒子又は光子に対して実質的に透明であるのに十分な薄さの強磁性体を有する部分を含む、1つ以上の囲い
を含む、請求項1に記載の複合型撮像システム。 - 前記放射線検出器は光電子増倍管及びシンチレータを含み、前記囲いは、各光電子増倍管又は一群の光電子増倍管の何れかを実質的に取り囲む別個の強磁性の囲いを含む、請求項2に記載の複合型撮像システム。
- 前記磁気シールドは:
前記放射線検出器の位置での前記磁気共鳴スキャナからの磁場を少なくとも部分的に打ち消す補償磁場を生成するように構成されたアクティブ遮蔽コイル
を含む、請求項1に記載の複合型撮像システム。 - 前記磁気シールドは、前記放射線検出器の位置での前記磁気共鳴スキャナからの磁場の向きを、前記放射線検出器との干渉を低減する方向へと変えるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の複合型撮像システム。
- 前記第2モダリティ撮像システムを、前記磁気共鳴スキャナからの距離が異なる近接位置と非近接位置との間で移動させるためのレール、
を更に含む請求項1に記載の複合型撮像システム。 - 前記磁気共鳴スキャナは:
当該磁気共鳴スキャナの静止磁場のシミングを行うように構成された切り換え可能な磁気シムであり、前記第2モダリティ撮像システムが前記近接位置にあるときに前記静止磁場のシミングを行う第1の切り換え設定と、前記第2モダリティ撮像システムが前記非近接位置にあるときに前記静止磁場のシミングを行う第2の切り換え設定とを有する磁気シム
を含む、請求項6に記載の複合型撮像システム。 - 前記第2モダリティ電子装置は、前記磁気共鳴スキャナの前記1つ以上の磁気共鳴周波数における無線周波数干渉の生成を抑制するように選択された周波数でクロック供給される、請求項1に記載の複合型撮像システム。
- 前記第2モダリティ電子装置は如何なるスイッチング電源をも含まない、請求項1に記載の複合型撮像システム。
- 前記第2モダリティ電子装置は、クロック供給されないスタティックメモリを含み、クロック供給されるダイナミックメモリを含まない、請求項1に記載の複合型撮像システム。
- 前記第2モダリティ電子装置は、前記磁気共鳴スキャナの前記1つ以上の磁気共鳴周波数における無線周波数干渉の生成を阻止するようにノッチフィルタリングされる、請求項1に記載の複合型撮像システム。
- 前記第2モダリティ電子装置は:
前記磁気共鳴スキャナの前記1つ以上の磁気共鳴周波数において無線周波数干渉を生じさせる当該第2モダリティ電子装置の少なくとも一部、を実質的に取り囲む無線周波数シールド
を含む、請求項1に記載の複合型撮像システム。 - 前記第2モダリティ撮像システムは陽電子放出断層撮影(PET)スキャナを含む、請求項1に記載の複合型撮像システム。
- 前記磁気共鳴スキャナと前記第2モダリティ撮像システムとの間で選択的に広げられることが可能な格納式無線周波数スクリーン、
を更に含む請求項1に記載の複合型撮像システム。 - 磁気共鳴スキャナを収容した無線周波数隔離室内に、高エネルギー粒子及び高エネルギー光子のうちの少なくとも一方を検出するように構成された放射線検出器と第2モダリティ電子装置とを含んだ第2モダリティ撮像システムを配置する段階であり、前記第2モダリティ電子装置は、前記磁気共鳴スキャナの1つ以上の磁気共鳴周波数において前記第2モダリティ電子装置によって生成される無線周波数干渉を実質的に低減するように構成され、当該段階は、前記磁気共鳴スキャナと前記第2モダリティ撮像システムとを、或る隙間だけ空間的に隔てられた物理的に分離したユニットとする、段階;
前記磁気共鳴スキャナと前記第2モダリティ撮像システムとの間の前記隙間に患者ベッドを配置する段階であり、該患者ベッドは、前記磁気共鳴スキャナ又は前記第2モダリティ撮像システムの何れか内に、該患者ベッド上に配置された患者をロードするように構成される、段階;及び
前記第2モダリティ撮像システムの前記放射線検出器の位置での前記磁気共鳴スキャナからの磁場を抑制するため、磁気シールドを、前記磁気共鳴スキャナとともに、前記第2モダリティ撮像システムとともに、あるいは前記第2モダリティ撮像システムと前記磁気共鳴スキャナとの間に、設置する設置段階;
を有する据え付け方法。 - 前記第2モダリティ撮像システムと前記磁気共鳴スキャナとの間に選択的に配置可能な格納式無線周波数スクリーンを設けること
を更に有する請求項15に記載の据え付け方法。 - 前記設置段階は:
前記第2モダリティ撮像システムの前記放射線検出器を、前記磁気共鳴スキャナにより生成される磁場から保護する強磁性シールドを設けること
を含む、請求項15に記載の据え付け方法。
