Description

(i)リグノセルロース系バイオマスの使用。
(ii)リグノセルロース系バイオマス中に存在するセルロースおよびヘミセルロースの一部を溶解させる、第1の溶媒の使用。
(iii)要素(ii)で得られた非晶質セルロースおよび溶解したヘミセルロースの一部を沈殿させ、リグニンの一部を抽出する、第2の溶媒の使用。
(iv)第1の溶媒および一部のリグニンを固体非晶質セルロースから洗浄するための第3の溶媒の使用。
(v)第2および/または第3の溶媒、ならびに一部のヘミセルロース糖を固体非晶質セルロースから洗浄するための第4の溶媒の使用。
(vi)第1の溶媒、第2の溶媒、および/または第3の溶媒、リグニンリッチ液体、ならびに酢酸に分離する手段の使用。
(vii)要素(vi)中のリグニンリッチ液体から低分子量リグニンを回収する手段の使用。
(viii)軽液を可溶性ヘミセルロース糖、ならびに第2の溶媒、第3の溶媒、および第4の溶媒の1つ以上に分離する手段の使用。
(ix)要素(viii)から出た処理またはシステムの流れから第1の溶媒を回収する手段の使用。
(i)リグノセルロース系バイオマスを提供する工程と、

(iv)第3の溶媒を提供して、工程(iii)で得られた物質と混ぜ合わせ、続いて実質的な固相および黒液に分離する工程と、
(v)第4の溶媒を提供し、工程(iv)で得られた実質的な固相と混ぜ合わせ、続いて固相および軽液に分離する工程と、を含む、方法。
(i)リグノセルロース系バイオマスを提供する工程と、
(ii)ポリリン酸を提供して、リグノセルロース系バイオマスと混ぜ合わせる工程であって、ポリリン酸によって、リグノセルロース系バイオマス中に存在するセルロースの少なくとも90%を溶解させる工程と、
(iii)アセトンを提供し、工程(ii)で得られた物質と混ぜ合わせる工程であって、工程(ii)中のポリリン酸によって溶解したセルロースの少なくとも90%を液相から沈殿させる工程と、
(iv)アセトンを提供して、工程(iii)で得られた物質と混ぜ合わせ、続いて実質的な固相および黒液に分離する工程と、
(v)水を提供して、工程(iv)で得られた実質的な固相と混ぜ合わせ、続いて固相および軽液に分離する工程とを含む、方法。
メタノール、エタノール、1−プロパノール、2−プロパノール、アセトン、プロパナール、1−ブタノール、2−ブタノール、ブタナール、ブタノン(メチルエチルケトン)、t−ブタノール、および水からなる群から選択される第2の溶媒と、
を含む、溶媒の組み合わせ。
(a)第1の溶媒および第2の溶媒を別々に収容する手段と、
(b)第1の溶媒をリグノセルロース系バイオマスと混ぜ合わせ、第1の溶媒によって、リグノセルロース系バイオマス中に存在するセルロースの少なくとも90%を溶解させる反応容器と、
(c)第2の溶媒を、容器(b)で得られた物質と混ぜ合わせ、容器(b)中の第1の溶媒によって溶解したセルロースの少なくとも90%を液相から沈殿させる沈殿容器と、
(d)沈殿した非晶質セルロースを回収する手段と、
を含む、システム。
Claims (19)
- リグノセルロース系バイオマスの分別方法であって、
(i)天然リグノセルロース系バイオマス中に含まれる量のヘミセルロースを含む、リグノセルロース系バイオマスを提供する工程と、
(ii)塩酸、硫酸、硝酸、リン酸、ポリリン酸、酢酸、二酸化硫黄、塩化亜鉛、水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カリウム、アンモニア、塩化リチウム/N,N−ジメチルアセトアミド、1−ブチル−3−メチルイミダゾリウムヘキサフルオロホスフェート、ジメチルスルホキシド/フッ化テトラブチルアンモニウム三水和物、N−メチルモルホリン−N−オキシド、一酸化カドミウム/エチレンジアミン(カドキセン)、および水からなる群から選択される1種類以上の化学物質を含む第1の溶媒を提供して、20℃〜80℃で、前記リグノセルロース系バイオマスと混ぜ合わせる工程であって、前記第1の溶媒によって、前記リグノセルロース系バイオマス中に存在するセルロースの少なくとも一部を溶解させる工程と、
(iii)メタノール、エタノール、1−プロパノール、2−プロパノール、アセトン、プロパナール、1−ブタノール、2−ブタノール、ブタナール、ブタノン(メチルエチルケトン)、t−ブタノール及び水からなる群から選択される1種類以上の化学物質を含む第2の溶媒を提供して、工程(ii)で得られた物質と混ぜ合わせる工程であって、工程(ii)中の前記第1の溶媒によって溶解した前記セルロースの少なくとも一部を液相から沈殿させる工程と、
を含む方法。 - 工程(iii)中に沈殿した前記セルロースが、工程(i)で得られた前記セルロースと比較して結晶化度が低下している、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(iii)で沈殿した前記セルロースの少なくとも90%が非晶質である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 工程(iii)中に前記液相から沈殿した前記セルロースをグルコースモノマーおよび/またはオリゴマーに変換する工程をさらに含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記溶媒の少なくとも1つを回収し再循環して工程(ii)および/または(iii)に戻す工程をさらに含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(ii)および(iii)の一方または両方がバッチ式で実施される、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- (iv)メタノール、エタノール、1−プロパノール、2−プロパノール、アセトン、プロパナール、1−ブタノール、2−ブタノール、ブタナール、ブタノン(メチルエチルケトン)、t−ブタノール、および水からなる群から選択される1種類以上の化学物質を含む第3の溶媒を提供して、工程(iii)で沈殿された物質と混ぜ合わせ、続いて固相および液相に分離する工程、をさらに含む請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- (v)液体の水、スチーム、および二酸化炭素からなる群から選択される1種類以上の物質を含む、第4の溶媒を提供し、工程(iv)で得られた前記固相と混ぜ合わせ、続いて固相および液相に分離する工程、をさらに含む、請求項7記載の方法。
- 工程(iv)中に得られた前記液相に対して、蒸留、一段階蒸発(フラッシュ)、多重効用式蒸発、熱圧縮、およびベンチュリ洗浄からなる群から選択される気液分離操作を行う工程(vi)をさらに含む、請求項7又は8に記載の方法。

- 工程(ii)中の前記第1の溶媒がポリリン酸を含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(iii)中の前記第2の溶媒がアセトンを含む、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(iv)中の第3の溶媒がアセトンを含む、請求項7〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(v)中の第4の溶媒が液体の水を含む、請求項8〜13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(ii)において、ポリリン酸によって、前記リグノセルロース系バイオマス中に存在するセルロースの少なくとも90%を溶解させる、請求項11〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(iii)において、工程(ii)においてポリリン酸によって溶解されたセルロースの少なくとも90%を液相から沈殿させる、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 工程(iv)で得られる液相を分離してポリリン酸を回収する工程をさらに含む、請求項15又は16に記載の方法。
- ポリリン酸を回収する工程が、プロセス流を燃焼させ、P2O5およびスチームを工程(ii)に戻して再循環する工程を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記工程(iv)で得られる液相、前記工程(v)で得られる液相、またはその両方からアセトンを回収する工程をさらに含む、請求項13〜18のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
